We use STEK light-protection films, heat-formed to each housing so the tint reads as a factory option rather than an add-on.

01Is tinted headlight film legal in BC?
Any film that reduces the light a headlight, taillight or signal puts out can fail an inspection or draw a ticket. Light smoke on taillights is common and rarely an issue; dark smoke on headlights is show-only. Clear and yellow film on headlights does not reduce output. We'll be straight with you about what's appropriate before we install.
02Will the film yellow or peel?
STEK light film is made for the heat a lens sees and is warranted for seven years against yellowing, cracking and peeling. The failures you see online are cheap dyed films or DIY installs with lifted edges.
03Can I remove it later?
Yes. The film lifts cleanly with heat and leaves the lens exactly as it was, which is why it's the safe alternative to painting or smoking lenses permanently.
04Does it protect against rock chips?
That's most of the point. Modern polycarbonate lenses pit and star on gravel roads; the film takes the hit and self-heals light scuffs with heat.
05How long does it take?
Two to three hours for a pair of headlights or taillights. Complex housings with deep recesses take longer because every piece is heat-formed by hand.
