Section 7.05(8) of BC's Motor Vehicle Act Regulations allows film on the top 75 mm of the windshield, on side windows behind the driver in any shade, and on the rear window if the vehicle has mirrors on both sides. The driver's and front passenger's windows can't have any film, even clear. BC sets no percentage, so the rule is about which glass, not how dark.

Yes. We tint full windshields from the inside, the same way as the rest of the glass, usually in near-clear LLumar AIR, which blocks over 99% of UV with almost no visible change. Be aware that in BC only the top 75 mm of the windshield is road-legal for film, even clear film, and anything below that line can bring a ticket or a Notice & Order. We'll explain the risk before you decide. We don't apply exterior windshield protection film.

Most cars are in and out the same day. A full tint on a sedan or SUV typically takes two to four hours; complex rear glass, older tint that needs removing, or vans with lots of glass take longer. We'll give you a time when you book.

Leave them up for three to five days while the film cures. You may see a light haze or small water pockets in the first week; they disappear as the moisture evaporates.

Clean with a soft microfibre and an ammonia-free glass cleaner. Avoid abrasive pads and never scrape the film. Cared for that way, LLumar film is warranted for the life of the vehicle.
