How much is window film for a Range Rover Sport?
The Sport uses the SUV rear package, which begins at $260 in ATC dyed film. IRX nano-ceramic or near-clear AIR costs more, priced for that package.

Is every Range Rover Sport’s side glass the same?
No. Land Rover Canada’s Range Rover Sport specifications split the line-up in two:

Either way the film goes on the inside face, and the plotter pattern is the same shape. The difference is the glass you start from, which affects how a given shade looks once it’s on. Autobiography and SV models also list a “solar attenuating windshield”, which isn’t a reason to film the windshield; BC limits that glass to a strip along the top.
Does a Range Rover Sport come with privacy glass?
Not as standard on Land Rover Canada’s current line-up. Privacy glass appears inside the Enhanced Black Package, alongside the Black Exterior Package, a black contrast roof and 23-inch gloss black wheels.
So two Sports of the same year can have very different rear glass. Without privacy glass, a 15 or 35 shade of ATC or IRX gives the darker look on its own. With it, film multiplies with what’s already there, so the lightest ATC shade or near-clear AIR might be enough. On LLumar’s performance data sheet, the AIR 80 row reads 77% for visible light and 60% for IR energy rejection (IRER). The trade-offs are laid out in tint versus factory privacy glass.
Which panes and fittings does the film have to work around?
A few that are particular to this Sport. On models from 2023 on, every rear door pairs its moving window with a small fixed quarter pane and a window blind, according to Land Rover technical bulletin JLRTB02124NAS. Both panes in each door take film; mention the blinds when you book.
The back glass is heated on every model and has a rear wash wiper, so the film lies over the defroster lines. Should the film ever need replacing, steam does the stripping, not a razor, which keeps the heating grid intact, as described on rear window tint removal. A Sport with the optional sliding panoramic roof also has a powered roof blind, and the roof glass is quoted separately.
What does BC law allow on a Range Rover Sport?
Film of any darkness on every pane behind the driver, including the rear door quarter panes and the tailgate glass, because the Sport has outside mirrors on both sides. Glass in the front doors stays bare, and the windshield takes film in its uppermost 75 mm alone.
That holds for laminated SV glass too. The front door windows still sit beside the driver, and side glass has to be behind the driver before MVAR s. 7.05(8) lets it carry film, whatever that glass is made of. What should I send for a Range Rover Sport tint quote?
List the model year and trim, whether the Sport has privacy glass or a panoramic roof, and the shade you’re considering. The quote covers the rear package, the ceramic difference if you want it, and the roof separately.
