How much does Kia Seltos window tint cost?
$260 in LLumar ATC covers the glass behind the front doors: the rear door windows, the rear side windows and the tailgate glass. IRX nano-ceramic or AIR clear ceramic is quoted per package, and a sunroof gets its own price.

Film is cut on the plotter to the Seltos’s model year, then shrunk to the curve of each pane with heat and squeegeed by hand, so no blade touches glass or trim. A lifetime warranty covers film and labour. Body styles beyond SUVs are priced on the window tint price list.
What glass does Kia fit to the Seltos?
Privacy glass behind the driver on every trim, and a sound-damping windshield up front. Kia America’s 2027 Seltos features list shows “privacy glass (rear side, tailgate)” and an acoustic laminated windshield as standard on the LX, S, X-Line S, EX and X-Line SX, and the 2026 list shows rear privacy glass and the acoustic windshield across that year’s trims too.
The front glass changes with trim. Kia lists tinted glass for the windshield and front doors on most 2027 trims and solar glass on the X-Line SX, much as the 2026 EX and SX had solar glass over the LX and S. None of that touches the rear package, but it explains why two Seltos side by side can look different from the front.
Kia gives no light-transmission figure for the privacy glass. Film multiplies with it: IRX 50 measures 54% on LLumar’s spec sheet, so it roughly halves whatever the glass passes. Check it against your own windows, and see how dark factory privacy glass is for the background.
Is the 2027 Seltos tinted differently from earlier ones?
The method is the same, but the pieces aren’t. Kia’s 2027 launch release calls the Seltos all-new, longer and wider than its predecessor, with a wheelbase 2.4 inches greater and new flush door handles. A different body means a different plotter pattern, so give the model year when you ask for a price.
The roof changed too. The 2026 Seltos offered a power sunroof through EX and SX sunroof packages. The 2027 lists a panoramic sunroof with power shade, standard on the X-Line SX and optional on the X-Line S and EX. Roof glass is quoted from the car itself; panoramic sunroof tinting explains how.
Which Seltos windows can take film in BC?
The rear doors, rear side windows and tailgate glass, at any shade, because the Seltos has outside mirrors on both sides. MVAR s. 7.05(8) leaves the front doors bare by law and the windshield bare below its top 75 mm.
Kia’s tinted or solar front glass is factory glass and a separate matter from film. The shop installs front-door or full-windshield film only if you ask, and talks through the consequences first: no BC road allows it, a $109 ticket and an order to peel it off can follow, and inspection rejects it.
