Honda Accord Window Tint in Langley, BC

At a glance

The rear glass of a Honda Accord can be tinted at Brookswood Tint from $240 in LLumar ATC under the shop's sedan package, with lifetime cover on film and labour. Ceramic IRX or AIR is quoted per package. Every 2026 Accord sold in Canada has a power moonroof, and Honda Canada's spec sheet lists no privacy glass, so the film sets the shade of the back windows on its own.

What does Accord window tint cost?

$240 is the starting price for an Accord’s rear glass in LLumar ATC, the shop’s sedan package. It takes in both rear doors, any rear quarter glass and the back window.

Accord glass Starts at Detail
Rear doors, quarter glass, back window $240 Sedan package in ATC dyed film

Moonroof Vehicle quote On every 2026 Canadian trim
Two front door windows $140 Against BC’s tint rule
Full windshield, applied inside $200 Legal only as a 75 mm top strip

The plotter cuts each piece to the Accord’s own outlines; the back-glass piece is then heat-shrunk to the window’s curve and squeegeed in by hand. Film and workmanship both carry lifetime cover. Pairing ceramic film or the roof with the rear package in one visit usually costs less than pricing each separately, and the sedan window tint page sets out the package itself.

How dark will an Accord’s back windows look with film?

Close to the number on the film. Honda Canada’s 2026 Accord specifications list no privacy glass on any of the three trims, so there’s no factory darkening for the film to stack on.

That makes LLumar’s measured figures a fair guide. They come from 6 mm clear glass, so a real car reads slightly differently, and a shade’s label is a product code, not its reading:

Shade on the menu Heat rejected (TSER) Light let through
ATC 05 44% 5%
ATC 15 40% 18%
ATC 35 35% 38%
ATC 50 28% 60%

IRX ceramic covers the same range of shades with more heat stopped: 50–62% total solar energy rejected (TSER), against 28–44% for ATC, on LLumar’s performance data sheet. For help picking a number, see what tint percentage to get.

Is the Accord’s moonroof worth tinting?

Often, because every 2026 Accord in Canada has one. The Canadian spec sheet lists a one-touch power moonroof on the SE, the Sport-L Hybrid and the Touring Hybrid alike.

That pane sits right over the front seats, where side-window film can’t help. Film on it goes on from the inside, is priced apart from the rear package, and can be near-clear if you’d rather keep the light. Sunroof tint explains how roof glass is quoted.

What’s different about the Touring Hybrid’s windshield?

It carries more hardware. On the 2026 Canadian sheet, only the Touring Hybrid gets acoustic laminate glass in the windshield, rain-sensing wipers and a head-up display, while every Accord has the camera Honda says Lane Keeping Assist uses: a “windshield-mounted camera to look for lane markers” (Honda Info Center).

None of that touches the rear package. It matters if you’re weighing a windshield strip: BC permits film only along the uppermost 75 mm, and the strip must leave the camera’s view clear. Ask before any windshield work, and read windshield tint and ADAS cameras.

Can an Accord’s front windows be tinted in BC?

Not legally. Under MVAR s. 7.05(8), the Accord’s rear doors and quarter glass can take film because they’re behind the driver, and on its back window because both outside mirrors are fitted. The front door glass is neither, so even clear film there is outside the rule.

Front-door film is still fitted on request, with the consequences set out first: a ticket Mission RCMP says typically carries a $109 fine, a possible order to strip it and present the car for inspection, and a fail at any BC inspection. The front-window tint answer for BC explains the regulation in detail.

How do you book Accord tint in Langley?

Start with the model year, trim and the film you’re considering. For 2026 that means the turbocharged SE or the Sport-L or Touring hybrid, the three trims of what Honda Canada’s 2026 Accord release calls the 11th-generation Accord. Say if the moonroof should be included.

Honda’s US features by trim lists a rear-window defroster from the base trim up, so the back-glass film sits over the heater lines; if it’s ever replaced, the old film is steamed off to protect the grid. Request a price on the Accord tint quote form; paint protection for the same car is on Honda Accord PPF.

Questions about honda Accord window tint

01Does the Accord come with tinted back windows?

Not according to Honda Canada's 2026 specifications, which list no privacy glass on the SE, Sport-L Hybrid or Touring Hybrid. What you pick is roughly what you'll see.

02Can an Accord's back glass go as dark as 5%?

Legally, yes. BC puts no shade limit on glass behind the driver, and the Accord's outside mirrors on both sides let the back window take film too. Think about reversing at night before you pick the darkest option.

03How long is an Accord at the shop for tint?

A typical Accord rear set takes two to four hours, so most leave the same day; the moonroof or stripping old film adds time.

04I have a 2023 Accord. Is the price the same as for a 2026?

Yes, the rear package starts at $240 on any Accord sedan. Name your trim, which in Canada for 2023 was the EX, Sport or Touring, so the shop can account for the moonroof when it quotes.
