How much is window tint on a Toyota Corolla?
The Corolla sedan falls in the shop’s sedan class, so everything behind its front doors is $240 and up in dyed LLumar ATC. Ceramic film on the same windows is an upgrade quoted per package, and a moonroof is priced separately.
| Corolla glass | Windows | Starting price |
|---|---|---|
| Rear package, sedan | Both rear doors, rear quarters if fitted, back window | $240 |
| Same windows in IRX or AIR | Ceramic in place of dyed film | Quoted per package |
| Moonroof or sunroof | The roof glass on trims that have it | Quoted per car |
| Front doors | Driver and front passenger | $140, not road-legal in BC |
| Windshield, filmed inside | The full pane | $200, legal only in the top 75 mm |
The price includes genuine LLumar film cut by computer for the Corolla’s year and body, heat-shrunk by hand, and a lifetime warranty: LLumar’s limited warranty on the film and the shop’s on the workmanship. Most Corollas are done in two to four hours on the same day.
Which Corolla trims have a moonroof to tint?
It depends on the trim and package, because Toyota Canada treats the moonroof as an upgrade on the lower grades. In Toyota Canada’s 2026 Corolla product summary for BC, the power slide and tilt moonroof is missing from the L, comes with the LE Upgrade and SE Upgrade packages, and is on the XSE.
| 2026 Corolla in BC | Roof glass |
|---|---|
| L | None |
| LE, SE | Only with the LE Upgrade or SE Upgrade package |
| XSE | Power moonroof |
| Hybrid LE, Hybrid LE AWD | None |
| Hybrid SE AWD, Hybrid XSE AWD | Sunroof |
Toyota’s 2026 Corolla announcement confirms the moonroof on both Upgrade packages and the sunroof on the Hybrid SE AWD. If yours has roof glass and you want it filmed, the sunroof tint page explains how it’s quoted.
What can be tinted on a Corolla under BC law?
Everything behind the front doors, plus a band along the top of the windshield. BC’s rule, MVAR s. 7.05(8), lets any darkness go on side glass behind the driver, lets film go on the back window of a car with outside mirrors left and right, and limits windshield film to the top 75 mm. The Corolla’s front door windows can’t carry film of any kind, clear included; inspectors following the 2025 manual fail it under item 13d, and fail windshield film lower than 75 mm under item 12e.
The windshield strip needs a look on this car. Every 2023 and later Corolla has Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, according to Toyota Canada’s 2023 model announcement, and Toyota says its Road Sign Assist reads signs with a forward-facing camera. Read tinting around a windshield driver-assist camera before you book a strip. The front doors and full windshield are fitted on request only after the shop has gone through the ticket and inspection risk with you.
How dark should a Corolla’s rear windows go?
Choose from the film’s own figures, after a look at your glass. Toyota Canada’s 2026 summary doesn’t list privacy glass on any Corolla grade, so check the rear windows in daylight: if they look no darker than the front doors, the shade you pick does most of the work.
| LLumar film | Character | Spec sheet figure |
|---|---|---|
| ATC 5 to 50% | Dyed charcoal, in the starting price | 28–44% TSER |
| IRX 5 to 50% | Nano-ceramic, most heat cut | 50–62% TSER |
| AIR 80 | Nearly clear ceramic | 77% visible light, 60% IR energy rejection |
The LLumar spec sheet measures each film on clear 6 mm glass, and all of them stop over 99% of UV. Don’t read a shade’s name as its measured light: ATC 50, for instance, passes 60% of visible light.
How do you book Corolla tint in Langley?
Give the shop the model year, the trim and any Upgrade package, whether it’s a sedan or hatchback, and the film you’re leaning toward. A Corolla Hatchback is quoted from its own glass rather than the sedan package.
Once it’s done, don’t lower the rear windows for three to five days, and don’t worry about a slight haze in the first week; it dries out. Get a figure from the Corolla window tint quote form, or call 604 534 6433 if you’d like a combined price with ceramic film or the roof.
