How much does it cost to tint a Corolla Cross?
Behind the front doors, prices begin at $260 in ATC, LLumar’s colour-stable dyed film. That package is written around a full-size SUV’s seven windows, so a Corolla Cross is checked against its own glass when it’s quoted.
| Corolla Cross glass | What’s covered | From |
|---|---|---|
| Rear glass | Rear door windows, any fixed side glass and the back door window | $260 |
| IRX or AIR instead of ATC | Same windows, ceramic film | Priced per package |
| Moonroof | The glass panel, on grades that have one | Quoted per vehicle |
| Front doors | Driver’s and front passenger’s windows | $140, not road-legal in BC |
| Full windshield (inside face) | Every part of the windshield | $200, legal in BC only within the top 75 mm |
Film is cut by plotter to the pattern for your model year, which keeps blades away from glass and trim, and each piece is then shrunk with heat and fitted by hand. LLumar’s lifetime limited warranty covers the film; the shop’s lifetime warranty covers its labour. For how the SUV package is put together, see SUV window tint.
Which Corolla Cross trims have privacy glass or a moonroof?
Toyota Canada’s releases spell it out grade by grade, and it changes from year to year. The 2023 Corolla Cross Hybrid launch release lists “LED headlamps, smart key access, privacy glass, roof rails and paddle shifters” as standard on the SE, with a power moonroof on the XSE.
| Model year | Power moonroof | Other glass details |
|---|---|---|
| 2023 | LE Premium AWD; Hybrid XSE | Privacy glass standard on Hybrid SE; rear window wiper added to the L |
| 2024 | LE Premium AWD; Hybrid XSE | Power back door on the Hybrid XSE |
| 2026 | LE Premium AWD, XLE, Hybrid XSE | Rear window wiper on the L |
The rows list only what Toyota Canada’s releases name for 2023, 2024 and 2026, and Toyota’s 2026 features page for the XLE. The releases don’t mention privacy glass on the gas grades either way, and Toyota publishes no light-transmission figure, so check your own windows. Film multiplies with tinted glass: a 20% film on glass that passes 20% leaves about 4%. How dark factory privacy glass is explains how to read yours.
What does the Corolla Cross windshield camera mean for tint?
Every Corolla Cross from 2023 has Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, and Toyota Canada’s 2026 debut release says Road Sign Assist “uses the forward-facing camera” to read signs, while Proactive Driving Assist uses the camera and radar together.
On Toyota Safety Sense vehicles that front camera reads the road through the windshield, so think twice before any windshield film. Toyota’s 2025 Tacoma manual, for another Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 vehicle, says plainly: “Do not attach window tint to the windshield.” Check the camera section of your own Corolla Cross manual before booking even a top strip. The reasoning, maker by maker, is in tinting a windshield with an ADAS camera.
Which Corolla Cross windows does BC let you tint?
Everything behind the front doors, in any shade, and nothing on the two front side windows. The back door window qualifies because the Corolla Cross has an outside mirror on each side.
MVAR s. 7.05(8) allows windshield film only in the top 75 mm. Front-door film ($140) and a full windshield ($200) are available on request, and neither is road-legal: tint tickets typically run $109, and an officer can also order the film off and the vehicle inspected. You’ll hear that before anything is cut, and front window tint in BC has the detail.
How do you book Corolla Cross tint in Langley?
Send the model year, the grade (L, LE, LE Premium, XLE, or Hybrid SE or XSE) and the film you’re leaning toward, and say whether it has a moonroof. That’s enough for the shop to price the rear glass and any ceramic difference.
Most cars are tinted the same day. A faint haze in the first week is normal and clears as the film cures; wipe the film with a soft cloth and a cleaner without ammonia, and never scrape it. Book through the Corolla Cross tint request or call 604 534 6433, and if you’re protecting the paint too, Corolla Cross PPF lists the packages.
