Which Ridgeline glass changes from trim to trim?
Very little at the back. Honda Canada’s 2026 Ridgeline specifications give every trim the same back window and rear privacy glass; the roof and windshield are where they differ.
| 2026 Ridgeline (Canada) | Sport | TrailSport | Black Edition |
|---|---|---|---|
| Power sliding rear window | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Rear privacy glass | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Rear window defroster with timer | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| One-touch power moonroof with tilt | No | Yes | Yes |
| Acoustic laminate windshield | No | Yes | Yes |
Honda lists auto up and down for the front windows only, and heated side mirrors on all three trims. For tint, that means the same rear pattern on any 2026 Ridgeline, plus a roof quote on the two upper trims.
How is a Ridgeline priced?
$240 is the starting figure, in LLumar ATC, for both rear door windows and the sliding back window. Ceramic film on the same glass, IRX or AIR, carries its own package price.
| Ridgeline job | Glass | From |
|---|---|---|
| Pickup rear package | Rear door windows and power sliding back window | $240 |
| IRX or AIR ceramic | The same glass | Quoted per package |
| Moonroof, TrailSport and Black Edition | Roof glass | Quoted per vehicle |
| Front door windows | Driver’s and front passenger’s | $160, not road-legal in BC |
| Full windshield, from the inside | 1 | $200, legal only in the top 75 mm |
IRX is the film to ask about if the cab gets hot: LLumar’s spec sheet puts its total solar energy rejection (TSER) at 50 to 62%, against 28 to 44% for ATC. Every job carries a lifetime warranty on film and labour; the truck window tint page lays out the pickup class.
How is the Ridgeline’s power slider handled?
As its own piece of film. The moving pane gets a piece to itself, which is what lets the window keep opening after the cure. American Honda’s feature guide says the window opens and closes from a button in the overhead console, and in the US it comes on the RTL and above; in Canada all three trims have it.
That button is the one to leave alone for three to five days after the install. The back window also carries the timed defroster, and its lines go on working under the film. If the back window ever needs new film, the old layer is steamed off rather than scraped, so the grid survives; tinting over rear defroster lines explains why.
What does BC allow on a Ridgeline?
The rear doors and the back window can go as dark as you like, and the front doors can’t take film. MVAR s. 7.05(8) treats the sliding back window as a rear window, legal to film when there’s an outside mirror on each side, which the Ridgeline’s heated mirrors provide.
Front side windows are a different case, whatever the film. The shop fits the $160 front-door job only if you still want it once you’ve heard the cost of being caught: a ticket that typically runs $109, per Mission RCMP, and a possible order to remove it and pass an inspection. BC’s front-window rule is explained in this answer on front window tint.
How do you book Ridgeline tint in Langley?
Tell the shop the model year and trim, whether the roof glass should be included and which film appeals. Expect to collect the truck the same day in most cases.
Nothing that opens should move for three to five days, slider included. If you’re comparing Honda’s other utility vehicles, the Honda Pilot and Honda Passport have their own pages. To get the Ridgeline’s figure, text 604 534 6433 or use the online quote form.
