How much does Cybertruck window tint cost?

Brookswood Tint’s pickup rear package is $240 and up with LLumar ATC, the shop’s dyed film. On a Cybertruck it covers both rear door windows and the fixed back glass; ceramic film, the roof and the windshield are priced separately.

Cybertruck glass Film From
Rear door windows and fixed back glass LLumar ATC dyed $240
The same glass in ceramic LLumar IRX or AIR Quoted per package
Fixed glass roof Any Quoted per vehicle
Front doors Any $160, not road-legal in BC
Full windshield, from the inside Any $200, only the top 75 mm is legal

Film is cut on the plotter to the truck’s own pattern and fitted by hand with heat, and it carries a lifetime warranty on film and workmanship. The truck tint page explains the pickup package in general.

What glass does a Cybertruck have?

Two moving windows per side, a fixed back glass, a fixed roof and a small fixed quarter glass at the front of each side. Tesla’s Cybertruck service manual sorts it like this:

  • Back glass. Tesla’s procedure calls it fixed backlite glass: bonded to the body with urethane and located on six datums, with suction cups used during removal to keep it from dropping into the tonneau gap. There’s no slider, so it’s filmed as one pane.
  • Front quarter glass. A separate fixed pane on each side, urethane-bonded and reached by removing the front fender and A-pillar trim, not part of the door.
  • Roof. A fixed glass roof assembly, also bonded with urethane.

The rear door windows are the moving glass behind the driver, and with the back glass they make up the rear package.

Can the Cybertruck’s glass roof be tinted?

Yes, from the inside, on its own quote. One detail worth knowing: Tesla’s glass repair guidelines say “Roof glass repairs are not allowed,” so damaged roof glass is replaced, and any film on it would be fitted again to the new glass. The sunroof and panoramic roof page explains how roof film is measured and priced.

What should you know about the Cybertruck’s windshield?

Its camera area is the part to leave alone. The same guidelines define a zone covering the camera’s field of view plus 25 mm of surrounding glass, with the painted border and part of the passenger side, where no repair is allowed at all. Tesla’s procedure for cleaning the inside of the windshield at the forward cameras warns technicians not to touch the camera lens and to clean the notch on HW4 trucks.

Some trucks also carry Tesla’s off-road light bar accessory, which attaches to the windshield; NHTSA recall 25V-735 covers 2024 trucks where an incorrect primer may have been used, and Tesla adds a mechanical attachment. If yours has one, make sure that work is done before any windshield film. The answer on windshield tint with driver-assist cameras covers the wider issue.

What does BC law allow on a Cybertruck?

Any shade on the rear door windows, and on the back glass too, since the truck carries outside mirrors left and right. MVAR s. 7.05(8) confines side-window film to glass behind the driver. On a Cybertruck that rules out the front doors and also the fixed front quarter glass ahead of them, and a windshield strip can’t reach lower than 75 mm from the top.

The shop will install front-door film if you insist, after setting out the downside: it isn’t road-legal, the usual ticket is $109, and a police Notice and Order can require removal plus an inspection at a designated facility. The wider rule is covered in can you tint front windows in BC.

How do you book Cybertruck tint in Langley?

Start with the model year and the film you’re weighing, and say whether the roof is included. Most vehicles are finished the same day, though a roof adds time, so mention it when booking. The tinted windows stay closed for three to five days after the visit. Use the Cybertruck tint quote form or call 604 534 6433.

Questions about cybertruck window tint

01Does the Cybertruck's back window open like a pickup slider?

No. Tesla's service manual treats it as fixed glass bonded to the body with urethane, so it's tinted as one solid pane with no slider to cut around.

02Is the glass roof included in the $240 package?

No. It covers both rear door windows plus the back glass. The roof is a separate piece of fixed glass and gets its own quote.

03Can I put a sun strip across the top of the Cybertruck's windshield?

BC allows film in the top 75 mm, but the forward cameras sit at the windshield, and Tesla's repair guidelines treat the camera's field of view plus 25 mm around it as a no-repair zone. Keep any strip clear of that area and check it against your truck first.

04Does ceramic tint help with heat through the Cybertruck's glass roof?

Film on the roof cuts heat and glare from above. Near-clear AIR does it with little change in the view; the roof is quoted on its own.
