Tesla Cybertruck Wrap in Langley, BC

At a glance

Brookswood Tint prices each Tesla Cybertruck wrap individually, using cast vinyl from 3M or Avery Dennison, whether it's a full colour change, a satin or matte finish, or partial graphics. Because the truck's body is unpainted stainless, colour comes from film rather than paint, and the truck's many separately clipped trim pieces, camera housings and taped appliques shape what the job involves.

What does a Cybertruck wrap cost?

It’s quoted for the truck, since the scope ranges from a few accent pieces to every panel. The shop publishes no wrap prices; the quote follows the panels covered, the film and finish, and how many trim pieces come off.

Job What drives the quote
Full colour change Every stainless panel, plus which trim pieces are wrapped or left black
Satin or matte finish The same panels, in a non-gloss film
Partial wrap or graphics The panels the design touches
Trim only Flare covers, pillar appliques or the tonneau appliques

Film comes from 3M’s and Avery Dennison’s cast vinyl ranges. For the finishes themselves, see satin black wraps or the matte metallic gunmetal colour, the finish on the GLS in the photo.

Why does a Cybertruck need its own wrap plan?

Because the body is stainless steel laid out in flat planes, not painted curves. Tesla’s refinishing procedure for the truck’s stainless panels works plane by plane, treating each repair as part of a flat face of the panel and matching it across the other panels on that side.

For a wrap, those flat planes and the sharp creases between them shape how the film is laid out on each side. Since the steel itself has no colour coat, film is how a Cybertruck changes colour; it covers the stainless rather than replacing it. Tesla’s own repair for a scratch on that steel is sanding the whole plane, so keep the Cybertruck PPF page in mind if protecting the finish is part of the goal.

Which Cybertruck trim pieces come off for a wrap?

Many of them clip on separately. Tesla’s exterior trim section lists fore and aft fender flares, trim appliques at the B- and C-pillars, along the roof, around the back glass and on top of the tailgate, rocker panel assemblies, a light bar beauty cover and retrofit mud flaps.

Two are worth knowing about before you book:

  • Sail appliques. Tesla’s current sail applique procedure, marked for trucks after November 4, 2024, releases each side’s applique from 17 clips and a datum.
  • Front fender flare covers. Each one holds a camera and a side repeater and is held by 11 clips and 3 datums, so film on it is cut to keep both clear.

Whether a piece is wrapped on the truck or taken off first is settled in the quote, piece by piece.

Has your Cybertruck had its applique recall done?

Check before wrapping a 2024 truck. NHTSA recall 24V-457 covers 2024 Cybertrucks whose trunk bed trim sail applique “could have been improperly adhered and can loosen”; Tesla’s remedy is adhesion promoter and pressure-sensitive tape, or a new applique if it’s missing. Have that done first, so the piece under the vinyl is properly attached. A Tesla service centre can confirm the status from your VIN.

What does the shop need to price a Cybertruck wrap?

Give the shop the truck’s model year, the colour or finish, and whether it’s a full or partial wrap. Mention any accessories, because they change which pieces the film has to go around. If you’re torn between colour and protection, read PPF or vinyl wrap, then use the Cybertruck wrap quote form or call 604 534 6433.

Questions about tesla Cybertruck wrap

01Does a wrap protect the Cybertruck's stainless from scratches?

It covers the steel, but stone chips are what clear or matte PPF is designed for; vinyl is chosen mainly for colour. If protection matters more, compare the two.

02Can the wrap come off and leave the steel as it was?

The vinyl is removable, and the truck's own finish stays underneath. Have it taken off by a shop, so the adhesive comes away cleanly.

03Do I have to wrap every panel?

No. A partial wrap, such as the lower half, the tonneau area or a graphic down the sides, is quoted the same way as a full one, from the panels involved.

04Can the black fender flare covers be wrapped to match?

They can be included, but each front cover holds a camera and a side repeater that must stay clear. List them when you request the price if you want them changed.
