What does Gladiator window tint cost?
On a hardtop Gladiator, the glass behind the driver starts at $240 in LLumar ATC. That’s the shop’s pickup rear package: two rear door windows, the quarter windows and the back window, which on this truck slides. A soft-top truck is priced from whatever glass its top carries.
| Gladiator tint job | Glass | From |
|---|---|---|
| Rear package, hardtop | Rear door windows, quarter windows, sliding rear window | $240 |
| Same glass in IRX or AIR ceramic | As above | Quoted per package |
| Soft-top truck | Rear door windows plus whatever the top allows | Quoted per truck |
| Front door windows | Driver and front passenger | $160, not road-legal in BC |
| Full windshield, from the inside | 1 | $200, not road-legal below the top 75 mm |
The plotter cuts each piece for your truck’s year and model, the fitting is done by hand, and the lifetime warranty takes in both film and labour. For how the package compares across pickups, see the truck window tint page; every figure is also on the window tint price list.
Which top is on your Gladiator, and what glass comes with it?
The top decides what happens behind the cab. Jeep’s 2026 Canadian feature availability list splits the glass and roof equipment this way:
| 2026 Gladiator, Canada | Sport S | Willys | Mojave | Rubicon |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Black Sunrider soft top | Standard | Standard | Not offered | Not offered |
| Freedom Top three-piece hardtop with rear defroster and sliding rear window | Optional | Optional | Standard | Standard |
| Deep-tinted sunscreen rear and quarter windows | Standard | Standard | Standard | Standard |
| Corning Gorilla Glass windshield | Package | Package | Standard | Standard |
Jeep Canada’s Gladiator page also lists a Nighthawk, an 85th Anniversary edition, a Mojave X and a Rubicon X. The feature list treats the X models as packages on the Mojave and Rubicon; for the others, a photo of the truck confirms its top and glass. A hardtop’s slider carries a defroster grid, film goes over it and the grid keeps working. Should that film ever need replacing, it comes off rear glass with steam, never a blade, so the grid stays intact.
How dark is the Gladiator’s factory sunscreen glass?
Jeep publishes no light-transmission figure for it. What matters is that it’s darkened already, and film adds to that darkness rather than replacing it.
Light passing through two layers is multiplied: if glass let through 20% and you added 20% film, roughly 4% would reach the cab. On a Gladiator, that means a middling shade on the rear doors and slider can look much darker than its label, while the windshield and front doors stay as they are. If heat matters more than darkness, AIR 80 keeps 77% of visible light on the LLumar spec sheet and rejects 60% of infrared energy (IRER), while a darker IRX turns away 50–62% of total solar energy. Tinting over factory tint explains how to judge the result.
What makes the Gladiator’s windshield different?
Three things, and none of them moves BC’s 75 mm line. Jeep Canada’s design page calls the available Gorilla Glass windshield chip- and crack-resistant, and the windshield folds down for off-road use. The 2024 Canadian press kit adds that a stealth antenna built into the windshield took over from the steel mast antenna that year.
On a 2024 or newer truck, then, the radio antenna lives in the glass. Worth knowing before anyone proposes film there, though in BC the only legal windshield film is a strip in the top 75 mm anyway.
What does BC law allow on a Gladiator’s windows?
Any shade on the rear doors, the quarter windows and the slider. MVAR s. 7.05(8) treats the slider as the rear window, which can carry film as long as the truck keeps an outside mirror on both sides. Taking the doors off changes nothing: whenever the front door glass is fitted, it’s a front side window and can’t legally be filmed.
Front-door or full-windshield film is installed on request, but only once you’ve heard the downside: it isn’t road-legal, a ticket usually costs $109, and an officer can require removal plus an inspection. For the full rule, read front window tint in BC.
How do you book Gladiator tint in Langley?
Tell the shop the year and trim, which top you run (soft top, black hardtop or body-colour hardtop) and the film you’d like. You’ll get back the rear package price and any ceramic difference.
Most Gladiators are finished within the day. Give the film three to five days to cure with the side windows and slider closed; a faint haze during that first week is expected.
