What does PPF cost on a Jeep Gladiator?
Gladiator PPF starts at $850 and climbs to a $4,000 starting point for the whole truck, all in LLumar Platinum. A Gladiator is long, with a cab and a separate bed, so the larger packages in particular are confirmed once the shop has seen it.
| Package | From | What it means on a Gladiator |
|---|---|---|
| Partial Front | $850 | The front of the hood and fenders, the bumper where it’s painted, headlights, mirrors |
| Full Front | $1,550 | The whole hood and front fenders, plus the same bumper, lamps and mirrors |
| Track Package | $1,900 | Full Front with the A-pillars, part of the roof where the top allows, and rockers |
| Full Vehicle | $4,000 | Every painted surface: cab, doors, bed sides, tailgate, plus headlights |
Platinum is a self-healing film, cut from software templates, with edges folded round panels wherever they’ll go. If a bumper needs a relief cut, its spot is marked out for you first. The film carries a 10-year limited warranty from LLumar on Platinum Gloss; the defects named in the shop’s own terms are yellowing, cracking, bubbling and peeling. The truck PPF page compares how these packages play out across pickups.
What should you check on a Gladiator’s aluminum hood before film?
Its front edge, for any bubbling under the paint. Jeep’s 2024 Canadian press kit says the Gladiator uses “lightweight, high-strength aluminum closures, including the doors, door hinges, hood, fender flares, windshield frame and tailgate”, sitting on a steel bed.
Stellantis later issued Collision Service Bulletin 31-001-25 Rev. B, dated August 16, 2025, which lists the 2020–2025 Gladiator among vehicles whose aluminum panels can corrode or bubble “along the leading edge of hood”, as well as at hinges, doors and fenders. It’s an information bulletin for body repairers, it names the cause only as “corrosion conditions”, and it says nothing about film.
For your truck, that means two things. On sound paint, PPF bonds to an aluminum panel just as it does to steel, because it sticks to the paint, not the metal. Where the hood’s edge is already lifting, though, the repair comes first: film laid over a blister would hide it rather than stop it. The paint is inspected and decontaminated before every install, so anything like this gets pointed out before you commit.
Which Gladiator trims put the most paint in the chip zone?
The ones with body-colour grilles and flares. Jeep’s 2026 Canadian feature list shows how much the nose changes from trim to trim:
| 2026 Gladiator | Grille | Fender flares | Also up front |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sport S | Body colour | One-piece black | Dark Sky package option: body-colour flares, Gloss Black bumper accents, performance hood |
| Willys | Black | Two-piece with body-colour insert | Black painted-steel cab rock rails |
| Mojave | Body colour, accent throats and headlamp rings | High-clearance black; body-colour insert in a package | Front skid plate and brush guard; optional steel bumpers |
| Rubicon | Body colour, accent throats and headlamp rings | High-clearance black; body-colour insert in a package | Front skid plate and brush guard; optional steel front bumper |
The press kit adds that the Mojave wears a performance hood with a centre scoop and the Rubicon a dual vented hood, so the hood pattern differs between them. On any Gladiator, the painted grille surround and the hood’s leading edge face the road square-on and take the most stone strikes. Body-colour flares sit right in the path of what the front tires throw, so they’re worth adding when your truck has them; black flares and steel bumpers are a different material and are left out of a paint package unless you ask.
Does the bed and tailgate need film on a Gladiator?
Only Full Vehicle reaches them, and whether it’s worth it depends on how the truck is used. Every 2026 trim carries a 5-foot steel box, Mojave and Rubicon run 33-inch all-terrain tires, and the bed sides sit directly behind those tires.
The Rubicon’s standard rock rails cover the cab and bed corners, and Jeep offers cab rails on the others, but the painted bed sides and the aluminum tailgate are exposed on every truck. For a Gladiator that sees gravel roads, Full Vehicle keeps the whole body under film; for one that mostly commutes, the front packages put the money where the chips land. Film can’t erase damage that’s already there, as whether PPF hides existing rock chips explains, so the earlier it goes on, the less touch-up is needed first.
How do you book Gladiator PPF in Langley?
Tell the shop the year and trim, the top and its colour, whether the flares are black or body colour, any steel bumpers or winch, and the package you’re weighing. Say gloss or matte. Timing runs from a single day for Partial Front up to three to five days for Full Vehicle, with Full Front and Track in between at one to two.
Hold off on washing for a week. From then on, wash by hand or touchless, with pressure-washer tips held well back from the edges, and rinsing mud off before you scrub saves the film from grit. Ask through the Gladiator PPF quote form or text 604 534 6433. For the glass and trim, see Gladiator window tint and the Gladiator chrome delete.
