What does Ram 1500 window tint cost?
The rear glass on a Ram 1500 starts at $240 in LLumar ATC: both rear door windows plus the back window or slider. IRX or AIR ceramic on that glass is priced per package.

Quad Cab or Crew Cab: what glass is behind the driver?
Both cabs have rear doors, so both take the standard rear package. Ram’s 2027 Canada press kit lists the configurations, all 4x4 in Canada:

The two cabs aren’t the same length: with the same 6 ft 4 in box, Ram’s 2027 Canadian specifications give the Quad Cab a 3,570 mm wheelbase and the Crew Cab 3,898 mm. That’s why the film is cut to your cab rather than to a generic Ram. The roof is the other split. Ram’s 2027 feature list marks its dual-pane power sunroof “Crew Cab only”: optional on the Big Horn, Sport, Rebel, Laramie, Limited Longhorn, Limited and RHO, and standard on the Tungsten. Is a Ram’s back window a slider, and is it heated?
It depends on the trim and option groups, which is why the shop asks. Ram Canada lists a rear power sliding window as one of the Express’s upgrades over the Tradesman, and the 2026 Canadian feature list puts a power sliding back window in the Tradesman Level 1 Equipment Group, noting it’s “not available with manual sliding”.
The defroster moves around too. On that 2026 list, the rear defroster is part of the Big Horn Level 1 and Rebel Level 1 equipment groups. A grid isn’t harmed by film laid over it; what harms it is a blade, so old film on heated glass is steamed away instead. Trucks with the digital rearview mirror take their picture from a camera in the centre high-mounted stop lamp assembly, as the RHO Level 1 group lists it, not through the back glass.
What does BC require before a Ram’s back window takes film?
An outside mirror on each side. Under MVAR s. 7.05(8)(c), the back window may carry film only if the truck has a rear-view mirror outside on both the left and the right. The rear door glass sits behind the driver, so it can go any shade with no condition attached.
That makes a damaged mirror a tint problem as well as a safety one. In the US, NHTSA recall 20V622000 covered about 19,075 2020 Ram 1500 and 2500 trucks whose driver side mirror glass could detach from its backing plate; dealers replace the glass free. A Ram dealer can check your VIN; if the recall applies, get it done before or with the tint. The mirror rule for rear windows has the inspection detail.
The front doors are another matter. Front door film can be fitted on request, but no shade is road-legal there; a stop can mean a $109 ticket plus an order to remove the film, and you’ll hear that from the shop before deciding. Front window tint in BC covers the rest.
How do you book Ram 1500 tint in Langley?
Send the year, cab, box length and trim, say whether the back glass slides and whether it’s heated, and choose a film: ATC for privacy at the base price, IRX for more heat rejected, or AIR for heat control without extra darkness. Ram’s pages give no light-transmission figures for its glass, and film stacks on any factory darkening: 20% over 20% comes out near 4%.
