How much does RDX window tint cost?
An RDX sits on the SUV rear package: rear door windows, rear side glass and the tailgate window, $260 and up in LLumar ATC. Ceramic IRX or AIR for that glass is priced per package, with the panoramic roof quoted on top.

What glass does Acura fit to a 2026 RDX?
Privacy glass at the back and a panoramic roof on every trim, with acoustic glass that spreads rearward as you move up. Acura Canada’s 2026 RDX features and specifications lists three Canadian trims:

All three have rear privacy-tinted glass, a rear window defroster and a rear camera washer. Acura doesn’t say how much light that glass lets through. Film and glass multiply: put 20% film on 20% glass and roughly 4% gets through. Check your RDX in daylight with samples before settling on a shade.
Can film go on the RDX’s acoustic laminated windows?
Yes. An acoustic laminated pane is a glass sandwich with a sound-damping layer in the middle, and film goes on its inner surface the same as on ordinary tempered side glass. On a Platinum Elite A-SPEC, that means the rear doors are filmed in the same package as the rest of the rear glass.

Is the RDX’s panoramic roof worth tinting?
It’s the largest pane above the passengers, which makes it the obvious place for ceramic film. Acura’s feature guide for the 2026 RDX describes an ultra-wide panoramic sliding moonroof that gives “passengers in both rows of seating a spacious open-air feeling”, with a power sunshade.
LLumar’s sheet has IRX rejecting 50 to 62% of total solar energy, against 28 to 44% for dyed ATC, which counts most with the sunshade open. Roof film is quoted after the shop sees the glass, and sunroof tint explains the process.
What does BC law mean for an RDX’s front glass?
The front door windows can’t take film, acoustic glass or not, and the windshield can carry it only in its top 75 mm. MVAR s. 7.05(8) leaves the rear doors, rear side glass and tailgate open to any shade, since the RDX has outside mirrors on both sides.
The Platinum Elite A-SPEC’s windshield also carries the head-up display and the rain sensor. Front door film, or film across the whole windshield, is a by-request job, and the shop lays out the risk first: a fine, a removal order and a failed inspection. How do you book RDX tint in Langley?
Give the model year and trim. The current RDX is the third generation, refreshed for 2025 with a new grille and cabin according to Acura’s 2025 refresh release.
