What does Maverick window tint cost?
On a Maverick, $240 in LLumar ATC covers both rear door windows plus the cab’s back glass, the shop’s pickup package. Ceramic IRX or AIR in place of ATC carries a per-package quote, and a moonroof, where fitted, has its own price.
| Maverick tint | Glass | From |
|---|---|---|
| Pickup rear package | Rear door windows and back glass | $240 |
| IRX or AIR ceramic | The same windows | Quoted per package |
| Moonroof | Roof glass | Quoted separately |
| Front doors | Both front door windows | $160 pickup rate; not road-legal in BC |
| Full windshield, from the inside | Windshield | $200; BC lets film reach only 75 mm down from the top |
Pieces come off the plotter already shaped to the Maverick’s glass, with no knife work on the truck itself, and are heat-shrunk and squeegeed by hand. Film and labour carry a lifetime warranty. The other pickup packages are on the truck window tint page and the full list on the price page.
What should a Maverick owner with a moonroof check first?
Whether the recall applies. NHTSA recall 26V-157 covers certain 2025 and 2026 Mavericks whose moonroof glass may not have been bonded correctly to its frame; dealers inspect the glass and replace it if necessary. Film on the roof glass should go on after that inspection, not before.
The trim around the opening matters as well. Ford’s TSB 26-2092, which adds the Maverick for 2022 to 2026, reattaches headliners that rattle or sag around the roof opening panel when the adhesive lets go. If yours has started to droop at the edge, get it fixed first, since roof film is fitted right beside that edge. The sunroof tint page explains how roof glass is quoted.
What’s different about the Maverick’s windshield?
On a Lariat, the equipment around it. Ford’s 2026 Maverick lineup lists an acoustic windshield on that trim, and Ford Canada’s model page gives it a 360-degree camera system, with front, side and rear cameras, plus adaptive cruise with lane centering.
For tint, that means two checks before any windshield strip. BC’s rule stops film 75 mm below the windshield’s top edge, so a strip is all it can legally carry. Driver-assist systems also need a clear view, so look up in the owner’s manual where the forward sensors sit; the ADAS camera answer sets out why carmakers are cautious. Name your trim when you ask, so the shop knows which windshield and sensors it’s dealing with.
What does BC law allow on a Maverick?
The rear doors and back glass at any darkness, and nothing on the front doors. Under MVAR s. 7.05(8), BC permits film in three places only: any side window aft of the driver’s seat, a windshield band reaching no lower than 75 mm, and rear glass on a vehicle with mirrors outside on both sides.
A pickup’s back glass counts as that rear window, so the Maverick’s can go as dark as you like with both mirrors in place. The front doors are another matter: any film there, clear included, is outside the rule. If you still want those two windows filmed, it’s $160 and done only at your request, once the shop has explained the truck would no longer be road-legal and could be ticketed $109 and ordered to strip the film. Everything else about front glass is in tinting front windows in BC.
How do you book Maverick tint in Langley?
Send the year, trim, whether it has the moonroof, and whether the rear glass already looks dark from the factory, since film adds to whatever tint is in the glass. Choose ATC for privacy, IRX for heat or AIR to keep the look. Most trucks are done the same day.
The film needs three to five days to dry, so the windows stay up until then. Book on the Maverick tint quote form, or send the truck’s details by text to 604 534 6433; Maverick PPF covers the front end.
