What does PPF cost on a Ford Maverick?
A Maverick’s PPF ranges from $850, covering the nose, to $4,000 for film on all its paint, all in self-healing LLumar Platinum. Each is a starting price, firmed up after the shop has looked at your trim and paint.
| Package | On a Maverick | From |
|---|---|---|
| Partial Front | Painted bumper areas, the hood’s and fenders’ leading edges, headlights, mirrors | $850 |
| Full Front | Whole hood and front fenders, painted bumper areas, headlights, mirrors | $1,550 |
| Track Package | Full Front’s coverage, plus both A-pillars, a band of roof and the rockers | $1,900 |
| Full Vehicle | Cab, box sides, tailgate and every other painted surface, plus headlights | $4,000 |
Templates are cut by software and the edges wrapped where the panel allows; where a bumper corner can’t avoid a relief cut, the installer points it out before cutting. LLumar’s limited warranty on Platinum is 10 years; per the shop’s published terms it takes in yellowing, cracking, bubbling and peeling. To choose between the front packages, read partial vs full front PPF.
Which Maverick trims have painted bumpers and rockers?
It varies more than on most pickups. Ford Canada’s 2026 model lineup gives each trim different finishes:
| 2026 trim | Finishes Ford lists |
|---|---|
| XL | Black mesh grille with black surround, steel wheels with Sparkle Silver covers |
| XLT | Carbonized Grey-painted aluminum wheels; Black Appearance Package available |
| Lobo | Rear bumpers, rocker moulding and door handles painted body colour; black-painted roof |
| Lariat | Black-painted sideview mirrors, machined painted aluminum wheels |
| Tremor | Front bumper with improved approach angle, unique grille with orange accents |
On a Lobo the rocker moulding is paint, which is where a pickup takes grit off its own front tires, so the Track Package’s rocker coverage earns its place there. The Tremor’s reshaped bumper has its own outline, and the pattern follows it. On trims where the grille and lower trim are black plastic, the film budget goes to the hood and fenders. Pickup-specific questions are on PPF for trucks.
What does Ford’s hood bulletin say about early Mavericks?
That the hood’s rear edge can flutter. Ford’s TSB 22-2382 covers 2022 Mavericks built on or before August 3, 2022 that rattle from the hood above 129 km/h, traced to a gap between the hood and the weather strip in the cowl panel grille. The fix is foam tape in the cowl grille.
If your early truck has that rattle, have it fixed before the hood is filmed. Full Front runs the film right back to the cowl, and a hood that moves at speed is better settled first.
Which Maverick colours cost extra?
Four of them for 2026. Ford Canada lists Orange Fury, Light Blue, Azure Grey Metallic Tri-Coat and Ruby Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat as extra-cost paint, beside Velocity Blue Metallic, Shadow Black, Carbonized Grey Metallic, Space White Metallic and Oxford White.
A tri-coat or tinted clearcoat is a finish you paid extra for, so a chip on it is the kind you notice. The Lobo’s black-painted roof is paint as well, and the Track Package covers its front edge. For a satin look over gloss paint, Platinum Matte is available on any package.
How do you book Maverick PPF in Langley?
Let the shop know the year, trim, colour and package, plus anything added up front, such as a bull bar or aftermarket lights. On a Lariat, mention the 360-degree camera so the front pattern accounts for the camera at the nose.
The paint gets decontaminated, and corrected where necessary, before any film touches it. Partial Front takes about a day; Full Front and Track need one or two; Full Vehicle needs three to five. No washing for the first week; after that, wash it by hand or take it through a touchless bay, nozzles off the film’s edges.
