What’s the price of Telluride window tint?
$260 is where it starts: the full-size SUV rear package in LLumar ATC, covering everything from the second-row doors back to the liftgate. Switching those windows to ceramic, IRX or AIR, has its own per-package price.

Each piece is cut by the plotter from the Telluride’s file for its model year and shrunk to the glass with a heat gun, with no blade used on the vehicle. The film and the workmanship are warranted for life. Ask for a bundled figure if you’re adding ceramic or the roof, since one booking usually costs less than the line items added up. How does the glass change across Telluride trims?
The windows behind the front doors are the same on every trim; what changes is the roof and some of the equipment around the glass. Kia Canada’s 2025 Telluride specifications list an acoustic windshield and front door windows, solar glass for the windshield and front doors, and rear privacy glass on all five trims.

The sunblinds and the dual roof matter for the quote. Kia’s 2024 manual calls the roof on these trims a Dual Wide Sunroof, and roof glass is priced separately from the side windows; sunroof tint explains how.
What happens when film goes over the Telluride’s privacy glass?
The two darken together. Kia Canada’s spec page gives no light-transmission figure for the Telluride’s privacy glass, and film takes its own share of whatever light gets through: a 20% film over 20% glass leaves about 4%. Judge the rear doors by eye, outside in daylight, before settling on a number.
Privacy glass is mainly about looks and light. If heat is the goal, LLumar’s spec sheet credits AIR 80 with 60% infrared energy rejection while passing 77% of visible light, so the back of the Telluride stays the shade it is now. Tint versus factory privacy glass walks through the choice.
Why does Kia say to keep film off the Telluride windshield?
Because the forward collision system watches the road through it. The detecting-sensor cautions in Kia’s 2024 Telluride manual rule out tinting the front windshield and fixing accessories or stickers to it. The front view camera sits behind that glass, and on a Telluride fitted with Kia’s head-up display, the display’s image is projected onto the windshield too.
In BC a windshield may carry film only across its top 75 mm, and on a Telluride even that strip shouldn’t intrude on the camera’s view. Tinting a windshield with an ADAS camera covers what carmakers say and why.
Which Telluride windows can be tinted in BC?
Everything behind the driver: the second-row doors, the rear side glass and the liftgate window, the last of which is allowed because the Telluride has mirrors on both sides. MVAR s. 7.05(8) sets no darkness limit for those windows.
The front doors are the exception. Kia already fits them with acoustic, solar glass, and BC law doesn’t allow any added film there, clear or dark. How do you book Telluride tint in Langley?
Give the model year and trim, from EX to X-Pro, say which film you want, and add the roof if you’d like it done. The shop replies with the package price and any ceramic or roof figure, and most Telluride jobs are finished the same day. Use the Telluride tint quote form.
