How much is IS window tint?
The sedan rear package fits an IS: both rear door windows, quarter glass where fitted, and the back window, for $240 and up in LLumar ATC. Ceramic is priced per package for those windows, and the moonroof gets its own quote.

Your IS’s pattern is plotted for its model year, so the glass never sees a blade, and each piece is heat-formed and laid by hand under a lifetime warranty on film and labour. How the package works on sedans generally is on the sedan window tint page.
What glass does a 2027 Lexus IS come with?
A standard moonroof, a black frame around every window, and rear glass with no privacy tint listed. In Canada the 2027 IS is a single model, the IS 350 AWD, sold as the F SPORT DESIGN, F SPORT 2 and F SPORT 3 with a Special Appearance Package on top, according to Lexus Canada’s 2027 IS product summary for British Columbia.
That summary lists a power slide and tilt moonroof, a black window frame, rain-sensing wipers, a windshield wiper de-icer and a rear window defroster on every grade. The only window item it lists is that defroster; there’s no privacy glass, where the same kind of summary for the GX lists it on the rear windows. So on an IS, the film you pick sets the darkness more or less by itself.
Dyed or ceramic film on an IS?
Dyed ATC if you mainly want shade and privacy; ceramic if heat is the point. LLumar’s performance data sheet gives ATC a total solar energy rejection of 28 to 44%, depending on shade, against 50 to 62% for IRX, which also scores 59 to 61% on infrared energy rejection.

The two 35 shades look much the same from outside; the difference is in the heat. The moonroof is where ceramic earns its keep on a sunny afternoon, since it sits right over the front seats. Ceramic versus dyed tint goes further into the trade-off.
What does BC allow on an IS’s front windows and windshield?
Front doors: no film of any shade. Windshield: only the top 75 mm. MVAR s. 7.05(8) leaves the rear doors, any quarter glass and the back window free to go as dark as you like, since the IS has outside mirrors on both sides.
The IS windshield also feeds Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, standard on every grade, and Lexus Canada’s notes say a dirty windshield is one of the conditions that limits Automatic High Beam. Windshield or front door film is a request-only job, done once you’ve heard the risks: a ticket, and the possibility of being ordered to remove the film and get the car inspected. How do you book IS tint in Langley?
Give the model year and grade. The current shape dates from the 2021 redesign, which Lexus says brought an extended, lowered rear deck in its 2021 IS release; older IS sedans start from the same package. A full sedan tint is usually done in two to four hours, and after that the windows shouldn’t go down for three to five days.
