What does Dodge Charger window tint cost?
A four-door Charger’s rear glass starts at $240 in LLumar ATC, and a two-door’s starts at $220. IRX or AIR ceramic on the same windows is quoted per package.
| Charger | Package | From |
|---|---|---|
| Four-door, 2015 to 2023 sedan or 2024 and later | Sedan rear glass: rear doors, any quarter glass, back window | $240 |
| Two-door, 2024 and later | Sports coupe rear glass: the glass behind the doors | $220 |
| Ceramic on either body | IRX or AIR in place of ATC | Quoted per package |
| Power sunroof (older sedan) or glass roof (Plus trims) | The roof pane | Priced on its own |
| Front doors | The two front side windows | $140 on request; not legal on BC roads |
Each price includes genuine LLumar film, cut on the plotter from the Charger’s pattern, and the shop’s lifetime warranty on film and workmanship. A full Charger is usually a two-to-four-hour job. Every body style is laid out on the window tint price list.
How is the glass different between Charger generations?
The 2015 to 2023 sedan and the Charger sold from 2024 on have different glass behind the driver. Dodge’s Canadian feature sheets for the 2023 Charger and the 2026 SIXPACK Charger list it like this:
| Glass | 2023 Charger | 2026 Charger |
|---|---|---|
| Windshield and front doors | Acoustic | Acoustic |
| Rear windows | Solar-control glass | Privacy glass, standard |
| Back window | Back glass with the AM/FM antenna integrated | Liftgate glass, with a power liftgate on Plus trims |
| Roof | Power sunroof, optional on every trim | Full-length glass roof, optional on Plus trims |
That privacy glass is already dark, and film stacks on top of it: put 20% film on 20% glass and roughly 4% of the light gets through. Dodge gives no transmission figure for its privacy glass, so look at your own windows before settling on a number. On the older solar-control glass, the film does nearly all of the darkening. The difference is explained in window tint versus factory privacy glass.
What’s built into a Charger’s back window?
On a 2015 to 2023 Charger, two things share the back glass with the film. Dodge’s sheet lists the radio antenna as integrated into the rear window, and the 2015 redesign moved the centre high-mounted stop lamp from the deck lid to the roofline inside the back glass.
- The antenna. The shop’s ATC, IRX and AIR films contain no metal, so the radio works as before. Whether tint blocks signals covers this in detail.
- The stop lamp. Film cuts visible light, so a dark shade across that lamp dims it as well. Ask for the lamp area to be left out of the pattern.
On the newer car the back window is in the liftgate and carries a rear defroster as standard. The film lies over the grid without harming it, since the shop cuts on the plotter and never puts a blade to the glass. The 2027 sheet adds a sunshade to the optional glass roof; film for that roof is quoted on its own, as the sunroof tint page explains.
Which Charger windows can you tint in BC?
Every window behind the driver, at any shade, provided both outside mirrors are fitted, and every Charger leaves the factory with them. The acoustic front door glass on both generations still counts as front side glass, and MVAR s. 7.05(8) permits no film on it, not even clear film. On the windshield, only the top 75 mm can be filmed.
Front doors at $140 and a full windshield at $200 are fitted only on request, and neither is road-legal here. A ticket typically costs $109, per Mission RCMP, and police may order the film taken off and the car put through an inspection. Expect that conversation before any decision; tinting front windows in BC sets out the remainder.
2020 and 2021 Chargers: NHTSA recall 21V516000, FCA’s Y47, covers windshields that may not have been bonded properly. The dealer fix replaces the windshield’s urethane sealant, so have it done before any strip goes across the top.
Booking Charger tint in Langley
Send the year, whether it’s the two-door or the four-door, the trim, and the film you’re leaning towards. Plus trims matter because that’s where the glass roof is offered. You’ll get the package price, what ceramic adds, and a separate roof figure if you ask for one.
Most Chargers leave the same day. Keep the side glass up for three to five days while it cures. A faint haze in that first week is normal and dries out. If the paint needs protecting as well, the Charger PPF page covers the front-end packages. Use the tint quote form to send it, or call the shop on 604 534 6433.
