How much is PPF on a Dodge Charger?
A Charger starts at $850 for the Partial Front, and covering every painted panel starts at $4,000. Those are opening figures; the car’s length and its scoops, flares and splitters often push the final quote higher.
| Package | From | What it means on a Charger |
|---|---|---|
| Partial Front | $850 | Front fascia, headlamps, mirrors and the forward strip of the hood and fenders |
| Full Front | $1,550 | The whole hood, scoop included, and both front fenders back to the doors |
| Track Package | $1,900 | Adds A-pillars, the roof’s front edge and the rockers below the doors to the Full Front |
| Full Vehicle | $4,000 | Every painted panel on the car, with the headlamps |
Size is part of it. Dodge’s spec sheets put the 2023 Charger at 5,040 mm long in SXT form and 5,105 mm as a widebody, and the 2026 Charger at 5,247.9 mm. Platinum is self-healing, comes in gloss or matte, and carries a 10-year LLumar limited warranty; the shop’s own terms spell out yellowing, cracking, bubbling and peeling as covered.
Where does a widebody Charger take stone chips?
Across the nose, along the leading edge of the hood and on the flares. Those are the surfaces that face the road first, and on a widebody there is more of each.
Dodge’s 2020 fact sheet describes integrated fender flares adding 8.8 cm of width, a new front fascia with a mail-slot grille on the SRT Hellcat Widebody, and new side sills that link the front and rear fascias. By 2023 the Canadian feature sheet makes the widebody standard on the SRT Hellcat and Redeye and part of a package on the Scat Pack 392.
The hoods differ by trim too. GT, R/T and Scat Pack cars have a performance hood with a functional scoop, and the Hellcats get functional air induction and heat extractors. A Full Front pattern follows each opening. On a widebody, check that the quote names the flares, and consider the Track Package if you want the low side sills covered.
Does a satin black Charger hood need matte film?
Yes, if it should stay satin. LLumar Platinum Matte keeps a satin panel looking satin, while gloss film adds shine to it.
Satin panels come from the factory on both generations. The 2023 Canadian sheet offers a Satin Black painted hood on the Scat Pack 392 and the Hellcats, plus a Scat Pack option that paints the hood, roof, deck lid and spoiler Satin Black. For 2027, Dodge’s SIXPACK sheet lists a Satin Black painted hood and a Satin Black hood patch on every trim. On a car that’s satin in places and gloss elsewhere, ask for matte film on the satin panels and gloss on the rest. The matte PPF page explains the finish.
What’s new at the front of the 2024-and-later Charger?
A different nose for each powertrain, and more sensors. The electric Daytona has what Dodge’s 2024 press kit calls the patent-pending R-Wing, a front pass-through that lets air flow through the nose. The SIXPACK cars, per the 2026 Canadian press kit, have their own fascia with a larger grille area than the Daytona and a hood carrying a black SIXPACK bezel.
The 2026 feature sheet adds a surround 360-degree camera on Plus trims and front and rear ParkSense with the Driver Convenience Group. Say which of these your car carries, so the pattern is laid out to clear the parking sensors. The roof is Gloss Black-painted steel as standard, and the Track Package covers its front edge.
Booking a Charger for PPF in Langley
Send the year, trim and paint, and say whether it’s a widebody or has a satin hood. Full Vehicle keeps the car three to five days, Full Front and the Track Package one to two, and a Partial Front about one; decontamination comes first, with correction where the paint needs it.
Once it’s home, skip washing for a week, then use hand or touchless washes and keep pressure nozzles away from film edges. If you’re weighing a coating too, the Charger ceramic coating page covers the paint side. To compare the two front packages, read partial versus full front PPF, then request a Charger price on the PPF quote form.
