How is a Charger ceramic coating priced?
Per car, after the shop sees the paint. There are no published coating prices; the figure depends on the package, the Charger’s size and how much correction the paint needs.

Every package keeps the Charger in the shop for one to three days, and paint thickness is measured before any polishing. Afterwards, keep the car dry for the first 24 hours.
Which Charger finishes will the coating sit on?
It depends on the year. The two generations Dodge has sold since 2015 come in different palettes, and both mix gloss paint with factory satin or black pieces.

If your car wears one of the tri-coat pearls, give the shop the colour name with the year. The gloss roof on the newer car is painted, so it’s treated as part of the body.
How are satin black Charger panels handled?
Separately from the gloss paint. Machine correction is what puts shine into a finish, so satin and matte panels aren’t polished, and they take a coating made for flat finishes.
On a Charger that means the Satin Black hood or full satin package on a 2023 Scat Pack, the matte spoiler on Blacktop cars, and on a 2027 car the satin hood, hood patch or satin stripes. Does a black Charger need correction before it’s coated?
Usually some. Dark paint makes swirl marks easy to see, and a coating seals in whatever is on the surface, so Pitch Black, Phantom Black or Diamond Black paint generally suits Performance or Signature.
