How much is window tint on an Audi RS5?
The price follows the body. A two-door RS5 Coupe is on the $220 sports coupe package; a five-door Sportback or the new RS5 Sedan is on the $240 package, which counts rear door windows. Both start in LLumar ATC.

Audi’s 2026 RS5 also comes as an Avant; a wagon is priced on the $260 wagon package. Whatever the body, the film is plotted to the year, make and model, so nothing is trimmed with a knife on the car, and it’s heat-shrunk to the curve by hand. Coupe or Sportback: which RS5 glass do you have?
Count the doors. Audi sold the 2020 RS5 “either as a classic two-door Coupé or as a five-door Sportback,” in the words of its 2020 RS5 release, and Transport Canada’s recall 2022-084 names “RS 5 Coupe and Sportback models” for the 2022 model year, so both bodies were sold in Canada.
The glass differs with the doors. The Coupe has a window behind each long door and a back window under the roof. The Sportback adds rear doors with their own glass and puts the back window in the tailgate, the fifth door. It’s also the longer car: Audi’s exterior design notes give 4.78 m against the Coupe’s 4.72 m. Tell the shop which you have and the right pattern is pulled.
How is the 2026 RS5’s glass different?
The plug-in hybrid RS5 Audi revealed in February 2026 is a Sedan or an Avant, not a Coupe or Sportback. On the Sedan, Audi’s launch release explains that “the shallow rear window is part of the trunk lid,” so the back glass lifts with the lid when you open it.
Audi’s rescue sheet for the 2026 RS5 marks the windshield as laminated, the door and rear windows as tempered, and lists laminated front side windows and a laminated glass roof as options. What does BC law allow on an RS5’s front glass?
Film goes behind the driver only, plus a strip no deeper than 75 mm at the top of the windshield. Under MVAR s. 7.05(8), the Coupe’s quarter windows and back glass, the Sportback’s rear doors and hatch, and the Sedan’s rear window can all take any shade, because each RS5 has mirrors on both sides.
The two front door windows can’t legally carry film of any shade, clear ceramic included. Ask, and the shop fits them for $140, but only after telling you it’s not road-legal, that a ticket is typically $109, and that police can order the film off and the car inspected.
