Toyota Land Cruiser Window Tint in Langley, BC

At a glance

A Toyota Land Cruiser's rear doors, quarter windows and back door glass can be tinted at Brookswood Tint from $260 in LLumar ATC. Toyota lowered the beltline on this generation for a better view out, which means tall side windows and a lot of glass for the sun to come through. Ceramic film and the Land Cruiser grade's moonroof are both quoted on request.

What does Land Cruiser window tint cost?

The rear glass starts at $260 in LLumar ATC dyed film: both rear door windows, the quarter windows behind them and the back door glass. IRX or AIR ceramic on those windows is quoted per package, and roof glass is a separate quote.

Land Cruiser glass Film From
Rear doors, quarter windows, back door glass LLumar ATC dyed $260
Rear glass in ceramic LLumar IRX or AIR Quoted per package
Moonroof (Land Cruiser grade, Premium) Any Quoted per vehicle
Front doors Any $140; illegal for BC driving
Full windshield, inside Any $200, legal only as a 75 mm top strip

Each window’s film is plotter-cut to the Land Cruiser’s year and model, then heat-formed and squeegeed by hand with no blade near the glass. Film and fitting are under a lifetime warranty. Other body styles are on the window tint price list.

How much side glass does a Land Cruiser have?

More than its boxy shape suggests. Describing the current 250 series, Toyota’s 2025 Land Cruiser release says the A-pillar was pushed back and the belt line lowered “for better outward visibility on the trails”. A lower beltline makes for taller side windows, and that’s more glass letting sun into the cabin.

That makes film choice a heat question as much as a privacy one. On LLumar’s spec sheet, ATC rejects 28–44% of total solar energy (TSER), while IRX rejects 50–62%. If you want the cabin cooler without making the trail view darker, AIR 80 passes 77% of visible light and still rejects 60% of infrared energy (IRER). Toyota doesn’t publish a darkness figure for the factory rear glass, so check it by eye before choosing a shade. Why ceramic behaves differently is covered in whether ceramic tint really blocks heat.

Do the 1958 and Land Cruiser grades need different plans?

Only where the roof and the Premium Package come in. Toyota Canada’s 2027 overview lists the Land Cruiser 1958 as a five-seat model, while the Land Cruiser grade adds a moonroof and a power back door. The features page describes the large moonroof as available on the Land Cruiser grade and the Premium package.

The Premium Package adds more. Toyota’s 2027 release lists a digital rearview mirror, a head-up display and a power moonroof in it for the US market. Say which you have when you ask for a quote. For how roof glass is priced, see tinting a sunroof or moonroof.

What BC allows on a Land Cruiser’s front glass

No film on the front doors and none on the windshield below its top 75 mm, under MVAR s. 7.05(8). The rear doors, quarter windows and back door glass can be any shade, since the Land Cruiser has mirrors on both sides.

Tall front door windows are tempting to tint, but they’re exactly the glass the rule covers. Anyone who still wants them done, or the whole windshield, can ask; the shop fits it only after making clear that it’s illegal on BC roads, that a ticket typically costs $109 and can come with an order to remove the film, and that it fails inspection. The regulation is explained in tinting front windows in BC.

Booking a Land Cruiser in Langley

Send the model year, the grade, whether it has the Premium Package and the film you’re considering. If a Lexus GX is also on your list, the GX tint page covers that SUV’s glass.

Most are finished the same day. Keep the side windows up for three to five days while the film cures; a slight haze in the first week is normal. Book through the Land Cruiser tint quote form or call 604 534 6433.

Questions about toyota Land Cruiser window tint

01Does the round-headlight 1958 cost more or less to tint?

The rear package is the same $260 starting price on both grades. The 1958 simply has no moonroof to add.

02Will tint make the Land Cruiser hard to see out of on a trail?

It can if the film is very dark, because tall side glass is part of what you look through when placing the wheels. A mid shade or AIR keeps the view clear while cutting heat.

03How long does a Land Cruiser take?

Two to four hours for the rear glass in most cases, so it goes home the same day. The moonroof adds time.
