How much does Enclave window tint cost?
From $260 in LLumar ATC for the glass behind the front doors: second-row door windows, third-row side windows and the liftgate. Ceramic film, IRX or AIR, is quoted per package, and the panoramic sunroof is quoted separately.
| Enclave glass | Film | From |
|---|---|---|
| Second-row doors, third-row glass, liftgate | LLumar ATC dyed | $260 |
| Rear windows in ceramic | IRX or AIR | Quoted for each package |
| Panoramic roof, two panes | Any | Quoted per vehicle |
| Laminated front door windows | Any | $140, outside the BC rule |
| Windshield, inside | Any | $200; film below the top 75 mm is illegal |
Film for each window is cut on a plotter to the Enclave’s exact year and shape, then heat-fitted and squeegeed by hand, with no blade on the glass. Both the film and the installation carry a lifetime warranty. The window tint price list has the other body styles.
Which Enclave windows are laminated, and which are tempered?
The front door glass and the windshield are laminated. Buick Canada’s 2027 Enclave comparison lists acoustic laminated glass as standard on the Preferred, Sport Touring and Avenir, “both laminated front side and windshield glass”, to keep out road and traffic noise. The same page lists deep-tinted glass and solar-absorbing rear side windows with privacy tinting on every trim.
Laminated glass is listed for those two places only, and the windows that can legally take film are the deep-tinted ones behind the driver. Buick gives no light-transmission figure for them, so judge the factory shade before picking a film. A light IRX or AIR adds heat rejection while leaving the third row bright enough to find a dropped toy. If you’re curious about the laminated front glass, see whether acoustic laminated side glass can be tinted.
Spots in the glass: GM’s PI0754G explains that spots on side and rear windows in sunlight, stronger through polarized sunglasses, are quench marks from tempering and are normal. Film doesn’t cause them or remove them, so point them out before the tint goes on.
Can the Enclave’s panoramic sunroof be tinted?
Yes, with its own quote. Buick describes the panoramic power sunroof as dual-pane, spanning both rows, with tilt, slide and express open and close plus a power sunshade. It’s standard on the Avenir and available on the Preferred and Sport Touring.
Roof glass on the 2024 model had a program of its own. GM’s Customer Satisfaction Program N232422680, released in January 2024, covered 2024 Enclaves with the sliding glass roof and fixed rear glass (option C3U) whose moonroof glass was produced without its clear surface primer; dealers replaced the moonroof panel. The program ran to January 31, 2026. Quoting for roof film is covered on the sunroof tinting page.
What can go on an Enclave’s windshield and front doors in BC?
Nothing on the laminated front door windows, and nothing on the windshield below the top 75 mm, under MVAR s. 7.05(8). The windows behind the driver, liftgate included, can take any shade because the Enclave has outside mirrors on both sides.
On the 2027 Sport Touring and Avenir, Buick also projects a head-up display onto the windshield. The shop doesn’t refuse front-door or full-windshield work, but it won’t start without explaining the risk: the film is illegal in BC, a stop can bring a $109 fine and a removal order, and the Enclave would fail an inspection. Tinting front windows in BC has the specifics.
Booking Enclave tint in Langley
Send the year and trim, whether the sunroof is fitted, and the film you’re weighing up. If you also run a Chevrolet Traverse, its tint page covers that SUV’s glass.
Most Enclaves are finished the same day. Keep the side windows up for three to five days while the film cures, and use an ammonia-free cleaner on it afterwards. Book through the Enclave tint quote form or call 604 534 6433.
