Which Pathfinder windows sit behind the driver?
Five. Nissan’s 2026 Pathfinder specifications list privacy glass on the “rear door windows, rear quarter window fixed, liftgate window”, the same wording as the 2022 sheet, and those are the panes the rear package covers.
| Pathfinder job | Glass | From |
|---|---|---|
| SUV rear package, LLumar ATC | Rear doors, fixed quarter windows, liftgate | $260 |
| IRX or AIR ceramic | The same five panes | Quoted per package |
| Panoramic moonroof, where fitted | Roof glass | Quoted per vehicle |
| Front door windows | Driver’s and front passenger’s | $140, not road-legal in BC |
| Full windshield, from the inside | 1 | $200, only the top 75 mm is legal |
The $260 package is written for SUVs with up to seven rear windows, so the shop confirms the Pathfinder’s figure when it quotes. Each pane is cut on the plotter from the Pathfinder pattern and fitted by hand, and the film and labour carry a lifetime warranty. Nissan also lists a defogger on the liftgate glass; the grid sits under the film and carries on working.
What did Nissan change in the 2022 Pathfinder’s glass?
It made the cabin quieter. Nissan’s 2022 press kit, written for the all-new model, lists “new acoustic laminated front glass, 20 percent thicker 2nd row glass” among the changes that cut cabin noise.
Neither change alters how film goes on. The second-row windows are thicker, but the film still goes onto the inside face and is shrunk to the curve the same way. The acoustic front glass is another matter, and not a technical one: it sits beside the driver and front passenger, where BC allows no film. Tinting acoustic laminated side glass explains how laminated panes take film elsewhere on a car.
Does the Pathfinder’s in-glass antenna rule out any film?
Only metallized film, and the shop doesn’t use it. Nissan’s spec sheets list an “in-glass antenna (FM/AM)” as standard without naming the pane that carries it.
Metal in a film is what can upset radio reception. LLumar ATC is dyed, while IRX and AIR are nano-ceramic, so none of the three carries a metal layer and the radio works as before. Whether window tint blocks cell or GPS signal covers the reasoning and the one LLumar line that does contain metal.
Which Pathfinders have the panoramic moonroof?
On the 2026 US sheet, the Platinum has it as standard and the SV, Rock Creek and SL offer it, described as “one-touch power tilt/sliding glass with shade”. For 2026 Nissan bundles it into the Rock Creek Premium package, and the SL Premium package pairs it with second-row manual sunshades.
Roof glass is priced separately from the side glass. If the third row bakes in July, ask for the roof and the rear package together; the sunroof tint page explains how roof film is priced.
What does BC law allow on a Pathfinder’s front doors?
No film, at any shade. MVAR s. 7.05(8) limits film to side windows behind the driver, the rear window when both outside mirrors are fitted, and the top 75 mm of the windshield, and the 2025 inspection manual rejects any aftermarket tint forward of the driver’s seat back under item 13d.
Behind the driver, the Pathfinder can go as dark as you like, liftgate included, since both outside mirrors are standard. The shop fits the $140 front-door job only for an owner who still wants it after hearing that it risks a ticket and an order to remove it. Read whether you can tint front windows in BC before deciding.
How do you book Pathfinder tint in Langley?
Send the model year, trim, whether the moonroof is fitted, and the film you’d like. The trim tells the shop whether there’s roof glass to price.
Allow two to four hours for the whole SUV, which is normally ready the same day, after which the glass stays closed for three to five days. For other three-row SUVs, compare the Honda Pilot and Kia Telluride pages. Prices come back once you fill in the Pathfinder tint quote form; you can also phone or text 604 534 6433.
