Lamborghini Huracan Window Tint in Langley, BC

At a glance

Tinting a Lamborghini Huracán coupé at Brookswood Tint starts at $220 in LLumar ATC for the glass behind the doors, with ceramic IRX or AIR priced per package. The door windows are $140 on request, but film there isn't road-legal in BC. Some Huracáns also carry glass in the engine cover, which a 2015 Lamborghini bulletin calls safety glass; it sits outside the package and is assessed on the car.

What does Huracán window tint cost?

A Huracán coupé is priced on the sports coupe package, from $220 in LLumar ATC for the glass behind the doors. IRX or AIR ceramic on that glass is an upgrade quoted per package, and anything outside the cabin, such as engine-cover glass, is looked at separately.

Huracán glass What’s covered From
Coupé, glass behind the doors The cabin glass behind the seats $220
Ceramic upgrade The same glass in IRX or AIR Quoted per package
Spyder Glass behind the seats, which differs with the soft top Quoted per car
Engine-cover glass Where fitted Assessed on the car
Door windows Driver’s and passenger’s door glass $140, not road-legal in BC
Windshield The full pane, fitted from inside $200; BC allows only the top 75 mm

The film is cut on a computer plotter from the pattern for your Huracán, so there’s no knife work against the glass or the bodywork around it. It’s then shrunk to shape with heat and laid by hand. Lifetime cover applies twice, through LLumar’s limited warranty on the film and the shop’s warranty on its labour. Why small, steeply angled coupe glass takes more hand work than a sedan’s is explained on the coupe window tint page.

Which Huracán glass can take film?

The cabin glass behind the driver, on any Huracán from the 2015 to 2024 model years that Lamborghini’s recall filings cover. Three details are worth knowing before you book.

Engine-cover glass on early cars

Lamborghini’s bulletin L62X-A.01.15, sent to dealers in January 2015 for 2015 Huracáns sold in Canada, the US, Mexico and Brazil, replaced “the rear engine bonnet safety glass” on some cars because incorrect tensioning at the factory could crack it. The replacement part arrived “with pre-installed glass and grille”. That glass sits over the engine, not the cabin, so it isn’t in the package. Ask about it at the quote.

The STO’s windshield

On the Huracán STO, Lamborghini lists “a 30% lighter windshield” among its weight savings. If you want the legal 75 mm strip on an STO, it goes on the inside of that same glass and doesn’t alter it.

Spyders

The Huracán Spyder has an “ultra-lightweight soft top that opens in just 17 seconds”. A folding soft top changes the glass behind the seats, so a Spyder is quoted per car rather than on the coupé package.

What does BC law allow on a Huracán?

Film of any shade on the glass behind the driver, since the Huracán has an outside mirror on each side. Keep film off the door windows, and off the windshield below its top 75 mm.

Those door windows count as front side windows under MVAR s. 7.05(8), even with clear film. If you still want them done, the shop charges $140 and first walks you through the consequences: a ticket that typically carries a $109 fine, and the chance of a police order to strip the film and put the car through inspection. Whether front windows can be tinted in BC covers the regulation in full.

Which LLumar film suits a Huracán?

IRX for most owners, because the glass behind the seats is close to your head and ceramic film cuts more heat than dyed film. AIR 80 suits anyone who wants the glass to stay almost clear.

LLumar’s spec sheet puts total solar energy rejected (TSER) at 50 to 62% across the IRX shades and 28 to 44% across ATC. AIR 80 is the near-clear option, transmitting 77% of visible light with an IR energy rejection (IRER) of 60%. Every film there blocks more than 99% of UV. Summers here are warm enough to notice the difference: Environment Canada’s normals for Abbotsford give a July mean high of 24.0 °C and 8.7 days a year above 30 °C.

Booking Huracán tint in Langley

Send the year, the version (for example EVO, Tecnica, STO or Spyder) and the film and shade you’re considering. Say whether the car has engine-cover glass you’d like looked at.

Most cars are tinted and back with their owners the same day. Keep the windows shut for three to five days afterwards, and clean the film only with a soft microfibre and ammonia-free cleaner. Call 604 534 6433 or use the tint quote form for a Huracán price. If the nose needs protecting too, the Huracán PPF page sets out the packages.

Questions about lamborghini Huracán window tint

01Has Brookswood Tint had a Huracán in the shop?

Yes, a Huracán appears in the shop's own photos, parked outside the unit and in the bay with its doors open. The photos don't record what work was done, so ask if that matters to you.

02Can the engine cover glass on a Huracán be tinted?

It isn't a cabin window and isn't part of the coupe package. Bring it up at the quote and the shop will look at the glass on your car before saying what it would do.

03Does a Huracán Spyder cost the same as a coupé?

Not necessarily. The Spyder's soft top changes what glass sits behind the seats, so it's priced per car once the shop knows the year and version.
