What does it cost to tint a Honda Odyssey?
$260 in LLumar ATC is the starting point for the van’s rear glass, under the shop’s SUV, wagon and van package. The exact window count on your Odyssey is confirmed with the quote, and ceramic film or the moonroof is priced on top.
| Odyssey glass | Starting price | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Sliding-door windows, third-row glass, tailgate | $260 | Van rear package in ATC |
| Rear glass in ceramic IRX or AIR | Package quote | Upgrade on the same windows |
| Moonroof | Vehicle quote | Standard on every 2026 Canadian trim |
| Driver’s and front passenger’s door glass | $140 | Fitted on request, unlawful on BC roads |
| Windshield, all of it | $200 | BC allows just the top 75 mm |
Each pane comes off the shop’s plotter shaped to the Odyssey’s pattern, then is heat-formed and fitted by hand. Both carry lifetime cover: LLumar’s limited warranty on the film, the shop’s own on the work. A van needs more time than a car’s two to four hours, so expect to leave it for more of the day. Minivan window tint explains how the shop prices vans.
Which Odyssey windows can take film in BC?
Every pane behind the driver: the sliding-door windows, the third-row glass and the tailgate window, at any shade. The tailgate counts as a rear window, and BC lets a rear window carry film if the vehicle has mirrors outside on both sides, as every Odyssey does.
The sliding-door glass moves. Honda’s US Odyssey specifications list auto-up/down power windows in the front and second row, so those panes drop into the doors like the front ones and need the same three to five days closed after tinting. Every Canadian trim also has a rear wiper and a rear window defroster on the tailgate glass. The film lies over the heater lines, and if it’s ever replaced, it’s steamed off rather than scraped.
How do privacy glass and built-in sunshades change the film you need?
They already provide shade, so film on an Odyssey is mostly about heat and UV. Honda Canada’s 2026 Odyssey specifications list rear privacy glass on the Sport, Sport-L, Touring and Black Edition, integrated second-row sunshades on all four, and third-row sunshades from the Sport-L up.
A sunshade only works while it’s raised, and then nobody sees out of that window. Film works all the time without blocking the view. It also compounds with the privacy glass, so a dark film over it makes the back of the van very dark. LLumar AIR goes the other way: on LLumar’s data sheet, AIR 80 keeps 77% of visible light coming through while turning away 60% of infrared energy (IRER). Tinting over factory tint covers the darker choices.
What glass do the Touring and Black Edition use?
Acoustic laminated glass in more places. The Canadian sheet lists an acoustic laminate windshield from the Sport-L up, and on the Touring and Black Edition adds acoustic laminated glass in the front and rear doors. On a minivan, the rear doors are the sliding doors.
| 2026 trim (Canada) | Acoustic laminated glass | Rain-sensing wipers |
|---|---|---|
| Sport | Not listed | No |
| Sport-L | Windshield | No |
| Touring | Windshield, front and rear door glass | Yes |
| Black Edition | Windshield, front and rear door glass | Yes |
Film sits on the cabin side of every pane, laminated or not. Name the trim when booking so the shop knows which panes are laminated, and read what acoustic laminated side glass means for tint.
What does BC allow on an Odyssey’s front glass?
No film at all on the front door glass, and a windshield band no deeper than 75 mm. MVAR s. 7.05(8) only permits side-window film behind the driver. The Odyssey’s front door windows are level with the driver, so the rule bars film there whatever its shade, even a clear one.
Front-door film is available if you ask, and the shop sets out the risk beforehand: a ticket, a possible order to take it off and put the van through inspection, and a failed BC inspection. The front-window answer has the fine and inspection details.
How do you book Odyssey tint in Langley?
Give the year and trim, which for 2026 means the Sport, Sport-L, Touring or Black Edition of the fifth-generation van Honda Canada describes in its 2025 Odyssey release. Mention the film you’re considering and whether the roof should be included.
You’ll get the package price back, plus figures for ceramic film and the roof if you asked. After pickup, the second-row windows stay shut for the film’s three-to-five-day cure. Book through the Odyssey tint quote form; Honda Odyssey PPF covers the paint.
