How much is window tint on a Bronco Sport?
$260 in LLumar ATC is the opening price for a Bronco Sport’s rear glass: the two rear door windows, whatever side glass sits aft of them, and the liftgate. Moving that same set to IRX or AIR ceramic is priced as its own package.
| Bronco Sport tint | Glass | From |
|---|---|---|
| SUV rear package | Rear doors, side glass aft of them, liftgate | $260 |
| IRX or AIR ceramic on that glass | Same windows | Quoted per package |
| Moonroof | The roof glass | Quoted separately |
| Front doors | Both front side windows | $140, though not road-legal in BC |
| Full windshield, from the inside | Windshield | $200, though BC lets film sit only in the top 75 mm |
Each Bronco Sport pane is plotted from the model’s pattern, warmed to its curve and pressed on by hand, under a lifetime warranty that covers both the film and the work. Doing the side glass and the moonroof together normally costs less than the two prices added, so ask for the combined number. Every package is listed on the window tint price list.
What should you know about the Bronco Sport’s moonroof before tinting it?
Check its recall status, then treat it as its own job. NHTSA recall 21V-809, filed in Canada as Transport Canada recall 2021-639, covered certain 2021 Bronco Sports where the moonroof glass might not have bonded properly to the frame holding it. Dealers read the glass’s date code and replace it where needed, so let that happen before any film goes on.
The glass also moves. Ford’s SSM 51286 describes 2021 and 2022 trucks creaking from the roof opening panel “when the glass is closed or in vent position”, and TSB 26-2092 covers headliner rattle or sagging around the roof opening on 2021 to 2026 Bronco Sports. If the headliner edge is loose, have it reattached before the roof glass is filmed, since the installer works right beside it.
The roof’s paint frames that glass. Ford Canada’s 2026 lineup gives the Big Bend a roof in body colour and the Heritage one in Oxford White, while the Outer Banks and Badlands wear Shadow Black, so dark film on the moonroof stands out more under a white roof than a black one. Roof glass has its own page, sunroof and panoramic roof tint, covering how it’s cut and priced.
How dark is the Bronco Sport’s factory rear glass?
Ford’s Canadian pages for the Bronco Sport don’t say, so judge your own glass before picking a shade. The darkness multiplies: put 20% film over factory glass passing 20% and roughly 4% of the light gets through, while the same film over lighter glass looks far less dramatic.
| Goal | Film | LLumar spec sheet |
|---|---|---|
| Keep the factory look, cut heat | AIR 80 | Lets through 77% of visible light; IRER 60% |
| Darker, most heat rejected | IRX, 5 to 50% | TSER 50–62% |
| Darker at the starting price | ATC, 5 to 50% | TSER 28–44% |
TSER is total solar energy rejected and IRER is infrared energy rejection, both from the LLumar spec sheet, where every film blocks over 99% of UV. Torn between film and the glass you already have? Read window tint vs factory privacy glass.
Which Bronco Sport windows can carry film in BC?
All the glass behind the driver; never the front doors; the windshield only across its top 75 mm. BC’s rule, MVAR s. 7.05(8), names those three places, and allows film on the back window of a vehicle carrying an outside mirror on each side.
So on a Bronco Sport the rear doors, the panes aft of them and the liftgate can go as dark as you like. The front doors stay off-limits whatever the film. Ford Canada lists Pre-Collision Assist and adaptive cruise for the 2026 truck, so find the forward camera’s position in your owner’s manual before asking for a windshield strip. Film on a Bronco Sport’s front doors or entire windshield happens only if you insist, after the shop has told you a Bronco Sport wearing it isn’t road-legal and could be ticketed and ordered to remove it. Front window tint in BC has the law in full.
How do you book Bronco Sport tint in Langley?
Give the shop the year and trim, say whether there’s a moonroof, and describe how dark the back glass looks today. Choose a film, then decide if the roof glass joins the job. Most Bronco Sports leave the same day. Hold off on opening the windows for three to five days; the film is still drying.
Those details can go in the Bronco Sport tint request form, or be texted to 604 534 6433 if that’s easier. For chips on the hood and bumper, see Bronco Sport PPF.
