What does it cost to tint a Lamborghini Urus?
The Urus is priced on the shop’s SUV rear-glass package: $260 in LLumar ATC for the windows behind the front doors, tailgate glass included. IRX or AIR ceramic on the same glass is quoted per package, and a Urus SE’s glass roof gets a figure of its own.

Each piece is plotter-cut from the pattern for your model year, so no blade touches the glass or seals, then heat-shrunk and squeegeed in by hand. Film and fitting are both covered for life, the film by LLumar’s limited warranty and the work by the shop’s own. Tinting everything you want in one visit usually comes in under the separate prices added up, so ask for a single quote.
Which Urus do you have, and does it change the glass?
Partly. The windows behind the front doors are tinted the same way on every Urus. The roof changes by version, and the SE has its own door-glass bulletin, so tell the shop the model year and the version name.

The years come from Lamborghini’s recall reports: recall 25V903 covers the 2019 to 2024 Urus, and recall 24V348 the 2023 and 2024 S and Performante. Lamborghini’s Urus Performante page lists “the full carbon-fiber roof” among its three main carbon parts, while the Urus S page offers a carbon roof as an extra.
On the SE, Lamborghini’s bulletin L636-A.08.26 says the door control unit can lose its calibration, “causing the short drop feature to slightly lower the window even when its not required”. The fix is a software update at the dealer. If your SE falls in that bulletin, have it done before the film goes on, because tinted windows should stay shut for three to five days while the film cures.
How is the Urus SE panoramic roof handled?
It’s quoted separately once the shop has seen the roof. Lamborghini’s October 2025 bulletin L636-A.19.25, issued for 2025 Urus SE cars sold in markets including Canada, replaces the roof gasket on some vehicles and tells technicians to check the seal “even with the roof open”. So the roof glass moves, and a rubber gasket seals it.
The film goes on the inside of the glass and stops short of that gasket. If your car sits in the bulletin’s VIN range (SLA40885 to SLA40991), let the dealer fit the new gasket first. Overhead glass takes the sun at its steepest angle, and every film on LLumar’s spec sheet blocks more than 99% of UV. What can you legally tint on a Urus in BC?
Everything behind the driver, at any shade, including the tailgate glass, because the Urus has outside mirrors on both sides. The two front door windows and all but the top 75 mm of the windshield must stay free of film.
The SE’s short-drop door glass doesn’t change that. Under MVAR s. 7.05(8) those are still the front side windows, and clear film counts too. The shop will fit them for $140 on request, after setting out that a ticket usually runs $109 and police can order the film off and the Urus inspected. A legal windshield strip is cut to clear anything mounted at the top of the glass, so mention which ADAS package your car carries. Which LLumar film suits a Urus?
IRX if you want darker rear glass and the most heat kept out, AIR 80 if you’d rather leave the glass looking as it does and still cut heat, and ATC at the starting price. Film darkness multiplies with whatever tint the glass already has, so a 20% film laid over 20% glass ends up near 4%.
Lamborghini publishes no light-transmission figure for Urus glass, so look at yours in daylight first, or read how dark factory privacy glass is. By LLumar’s figures, IRX turns away 50 to 62% of the sun’s total energy (TSER) and ATC 28 to 44%, while AIR 80 rejects 60% of infrared energy (IRER) and still passes 77% of visible light.
