What does Jeep Compass window tint cost?
$260 in LLumar ATC for everything behind the front doors: both rear door windows, the side glass behind them and the liftgate window. IRX nano-ceramic or AIR clear ceramic on that glass is quoted per package.

The shop’s plotter cuts each piece to the Compass’s model year, and the film is heat-shrunk to the glass by hand, so there’s no blade work on the car. Film and labour are covered by a lifetime warranty. Starting prices for other body styles are on the window tint price list.
How dark is a Compass’s glass before tint?
Already dark in the back. Jeep’s 2025 Compass feature availability sheet lists “deep-tint sunscreen” glass as standard on the Sport, Latitude, Trailhawk and Limited. Jeep doesn’t publish its light transmission.
That leaves you choosing by eye. Film darkens in proportion to what the glass already lets through, so a 35% film over glass that passes a fifth of the light ends up somewhere under 10%. How is the Compass’s dual-pane sunroof tinted?
As two separate pieces, quoted per vehicle. Jeep’s feature sheet describes the sunroof as “power, dual-pane with front tilt/fore/aft and rear fixed glass”, packaged with the Sun and Sound Group on the Latitude, Trailhawk and Limited and not offered on the Sport. In Canada, Jeep includes it on the 2026 85th Anniversary Edition.
Two service documents add detail. Jeep’s STAR case S2023000027 explains that on 2017 to 2020 models the sunroof reads vehicle speed to adjust its anti-pinch setting, so wind over the roof isn’t mistaken for an obstruction. TSB 23-004-23 covers a noise from the rear sunroof area on some 2022 builds, traced to missing adhesive between interior roof frame panels. Have any roof noise fixed before roof film goes on. Which Compass windows does BC let you tint?
Every window behind the driver, at any shade, and the liftgate too because the Compass has outside mirrors on both sides. MVAR s. 7.05(8) rules out the front doors completely and the windshield everywhere except a 75 mm band at the top.
Jeep’s 2025 feature sheet makes a windshield wiper de-icer standard on the Limited, and for 2026 the What’s New release adds it to the Trailhawk as well. Neither changes what BC allows on that glass. Should you want film on the front doors or across the whole windshield regardless, the shop fits it on request after going over what follows: it isn’t road-legal, a $109 ticket with an order to remove it is possible, and inspection will fail it.
