What does RS e-tron GT window tint cost?
The RS e-tron GT’s two rear door windows, any fixed glass beside them and the back window come to $240 in LLumar ATC. Ceramic film, the roof and the front doors are separate lines.

Each piece for an RS e-tron GT is plotter-cut from Audi’s window shapes, heat-formed to the curve and squeegeed by hand, with no knife work on the car. LLumar puts a lifetime limited warranty on the film itself, and Brookswood Tint gives the installation a lifetime warranty of its own. Audi calls the car a four-door coupé, but with rear doors it falls in the sedan tint package.
What glass did Audi fit to the e-tron GT?
More specialized glass than most sedans, and some of it optional. Audi’s 2021 design and aerodynamics notes list a noise-insulating windshield as standard, the same acoustic glass for the side windows and rear window “upon request,” and “dark privacy glazing for the rear” as a further option.
So two RS e-tron GTs can arrive with different rear glass. The darkness stacks: put a 20% film on 20% privacy glass and only about 4% of daylight makes it through. Audi’s press materials give no percentage for the e-tron GT’s privacy option, so have the shop look at the e-tron GT’s rear glass before you pick a number. Does film belong on the RS e-tron GT’s roof?
That depends on the roof, and the standard one already does part of a film’s job. Audi says the standard roof is “heat-insulating glass” in which “wafer-thin vapor-coated metal layers reflect long-wave infrared radiation,” and a carbon fibre-reinforced polymer roof was offered instead, saving 12 kg at the top of the car.
For the 2024 update, when the family became the S e-tron GT, RS e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT performance, Audi’s 2024 release added an optional panoramic roof of polymer-dispersed liquid crystal glass that turns opaque at the touch of a button, with four presets in the MMI. The RS e-tron GT performance can also have a matte, darkened carbon roof with no glass at all. Will tint interfere with the antennas in the back glass?
Not with the films Brookswood Tint installs, because none of them contains metal. Audi’s design notes say the long, flat rear window “ends in a black zone that holds a number of the vehicle antennas,” which is worth knowing before anything goes on that pane.

What does BC law allow on an RS e-tron GT?
Behind the front seats, the RS e-tron GT can be as dark as you want, back window included, because it carries a mirror on each side. Its front door glass has to stay unfilmed, and windshield film is limited to the uppermost 75 mm.
That rule comes from MVAR s. 7.05(8), and it applies to clear films such as AIR as much as dark ones. How do you book RS e-tron GT tint in Langley?
Send the model year, the version (RS, RS performance or another e-tron GT), whether the rear glass is factory-darkened, and which roof the car has. Name the film and shade you’re considering.
An e-tron GT is normally finished in one visit, same day. Don’t lower the e-tron GT’s rear door glass until three to five days have passed, and from then on clean the film with nothing harsher than ammonia-free cleaner on a soft cloth.
