Which lamps does the current Integra use?
LED all round, with Acura’s own names for them. Acura Canada’s 2026 Integra specifications give every trim Jewel Eye LED headlights, Chicane LED daytime running lights, Chicane LED taillights, LED brake lights and LED front turn signals.
| 2026 Integra, Canada | A-Spec | Elite A-Spec, Elite A-Spec MT | Type S |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jewel Eye LED headlights | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Chicane LED taillights | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| LED fog lights | Yes | Yes | Not listed |

The Type S shares the same lamp names: its 2023 launch release lists Jewel Eye LED headlights and Chicane LED taillights among its key features. What changes on the Type S is the body around them, with its own front fascia and rear diffuser.
How is smoke film fitted to Integra taillights?
The film is formed to each lens with heat and finished by hand along the edge of the lamp. STEK light film comes in 30% and 50% smoke as well as clear and yellow, and the shop publishes a 7-year manufacturer warranty against yellowing, cracking and peeling.
Because film is a removable layer and not a paint or spray, the lens underneath stays as Acura made it. That matters on an Integra still under warranty or on a lease: heat lifts the film off when the car goes back or gets sold. Each car is priced from its own lamps, so the Integra is quoted rather than given a posted figure.
Does it matter which Integra generation you have?
Very much, because the lamps have nothing in common across the generations. Acura’s Integra timeline notes that the 1986 original had a pop-up headlight design, and that the third generation got “new front and rear light clusters” for 1998.
The fifth generation, sold since the 2023 model year, is the five-door liftback with the LED units above. A 1990s Integra in someone’s garage needs a completely different approach, so send a photo of the lamps when you ask for a quote. Whichever car you have, give the year first.
Should an Integra’s taillights get 30% or 50% smoke?
Start at 50% on a car you drive every day. Film lets through a share of the light the lamp already puts out, so 50% halves it and 30% passes less than a third. Every 2026 trim also lists LED brake lights, and those are the lights the driver behind you depends on most.
Fraser Valley rain and spray cut visibility further, and a heavily smoked lens in that weather is a real trade-off. How taillight tint affects brake lights sets out what each shade costs you in brightness. The film gets a fuller write-up on the smoked taillights page.
Will smoked Integra lamps pass a BC inspection?
Plan on them not passing. The 2025 Vehicle Inspection Manual, Section 6, item 1.0(a), rejects a lamp whose lens “reduces transmission of light” or “is covered in any manner”. Smoke or yellow film on a headlight, taillight or signal can fail on that wording, and even clear film can draw a question.
If an inspection is coming: an Integra brought in from another province, or one under a Notice & Order, should have the film removed first. It comes off with heat.
On the road, smoked lamps can also bring a ticket. Whether smoked taillights are legal in BC explains the lamp rules, and the shop runs through the same points before you decide.
How do you book Integra light film in Langley?
Send the model year, trim and a photo of the lamps you want covered, plus the shade you have in mind. You’ll get a figure for your Integra and a time to drop it off.
Plan on two to three hours for each pair of lamps. Wash the filmed lenses by hand or in a touchless bay and keep pressure nozzles back from the edges. Book through the Integra light film request or text 604 534 6433, and ask about Integra window tint if you’d like the glass done the same day.
