Which LLumar package fits an Equinox?
All four apply; what changes is how far back the film runs. Partial Front protects the parts that meet the road first, and each step up adds panels until Full Vehicle covers every painted surface.

The film is LLumar Platinum: self-healing, in gloss or matte, with LLumar’s 10-year limited warranty, which the shop lists as covering yellowing, cracking, bubbling and peeling. The figures are starting points, and size, panel shapes and paint condition set the final number.
What changed at the front of the 2025 Equinox?
Its proportions and its trims. GM’s 2025 Equinox announcement describes a new generation 2.5 inches wider than the model it replaced, with squared wheel openings, fender flares and three distinct front fascia treatments:

PPF is cut from software templates for the exact vehicle, so give the model year and trim. An older Equinox and a 2025 or later one are different shapes, and an RS bumper is not an ACTIV bumper.
Where does an Equinox pick up chips?
On whatever faces forward: the fascia, the front edge of the hood, the headlamps and the mirror caps, which is the Partial Front list. Speed raises the stakes, because TranBC notes that going from 80 to 110 km/h almost doubles the impact energy of a flying stone.
The ACTIV deserves a second look. GM built it for drivers “whose passions start where the pavement ends”, on 235/65R17 all-terrain tires. What sits in the Equinox’s bumpers?
Moving shutters and parking sensors. Chevrolet Canada’s 2027 comparison lists active upper and lower grille shutters and Rear Park Assist as standard on all three trims, with HD Surround Vision cameras and fog lamps as options.
Each of those changes the shape the film has to follow. Tell the shop which options your Equinox has, so the template is matched to the openings, lenses and sensors on your bumper and not a different build’s.
Gloss or matte film on an Equinox?
Gloss keeps the paint looking the way Chevrolet finished it; matte turns gloss paint satin. That matters on an Equinox because so much of the colour story is in the details: the RS adds black mirrors and emblems, and the 2027 comparison lists a Mosaic Black Metallic roof for two-tone combinations on the LT and RS. Chevrolet Canada’s Equinox page calls that roof an option for contrasting colours.
Matte film on a front package alone leaves a satin nose ahead of gloss doors. If the satin look is the goal, price Full Vehicle so the whole body matches.
