How much is PPF on a Ford Escape?

Escape pricing in LLumar Platinum spans $850 at the low end to $4,000 for a fully filmed car. Treat each figure as a floor: the shop settles yours once it has seen the Escape and the state of its paint.

Package On an Escape From
Partial Front Front bumper cover, forward strip of hood and fenders, headlights, mirror caps $850
Full Front Whole hood and front fenders, front bumper cover, headlights, mirror caps $1,550
Track Package Full Front, windshield pillars, a roof-edge strip, rockers $1,900
Full Vehicle Every painted surface and the headlights $4,000

Heat lets Platinum’s top layer recover from light swirls, and it’s sold in gloss or matte; every piece is software-cut, edges wrapped where a panel allows. LLumar stands behind it with a 10-year limited warranty; the defects the shop lists under that cover are yellowing, cracking, bubbling and peeling. The entry tier is described on partial front PPF.

Which Escape parts does Ford paint separately from the body?

Ford listed them itself. In program 22G08, for a small number of 2022 Escapes whose Oxford White paint came out mismatched, Ford gave owners the option of repainting only the “hang-on” parts: the front bumper cover, mirror caps, wheel lips, door handles, sill trim, spoiler, rear quarter panel and rear bumper cover.

That list is a useful map for PPF. The front bumper cover and mirror caps sit in every front package. The wheel lips and sill trim, low down where tires throw grit, sit in Full Vehicle, and the rockers come into the Track Package. The spoiler and rear bumper cover are Full Vehicle territory too. If any of those parts has been repainted, say so, because refinished paint is checked before film goes over it.

What should you know about the Escape’s front radar and nose?

On Escapes with adaptive cruise, a radar module up front runs several safety systems. NHTSA recall 24V-440 covered 2023 and 2024 two-wheel-drive Escapes whose cruise radar was misaligned at the factory, which could affect Pre-Collision Assist, Forward Collision Warning and automatic emergency braking until dealers adjusted its angle. Mention adaptive cruise when you ask for a front package, so the pattern accounts for the radar.

Other front-end work should come first. Ford’s TSB 21-2445 covers some 2021 Escapes built between August 10 and September 20, 2021 whose grille, hood or bumper cover flutters above 105 km/h, fixed by replacing the radiator deflectors. Film goes on after any repair that takes the front end apart. At the back, recall 25V-829 reinstalls liftgate hinge covers on 2020 to 2022 and 2025 Escapes, worth clearing before a Full Vehicle job.

How much coverage does an Escape need for Lower Mainland roads?

For most commuting, Full Front. BC spreads abrasive on its highways in winter, and TranBC says no piece of it on main highways is allowed to be over 9.5 mm, adding that the energy of each strike almost doubles when speed rises from 80 to 110 km/h. The hood’s full width and the fender tops take those hits at highway speed.

Partial Front is the budget option, with a visible film edge partway up the hood. The Track Package adds the rockers, which counts on Escapes whose sill trim is painted, like the Oxford White cars in program 22G08. Ford Canada describes the line as having “reached the end of its journey”, so the case for film is the Escape you already own and want to keep looking right. PPF for Highway 1 commuters goes further.

How do you book Escape PPF in Langley?

Give the shop your Escape’s year, trim and colour, the package you have in mind, and any repaint or recall work already done at the front. Before film, the shop inspects the paint, strips contamination from it and corrects whatever needs it.

Count on roughly a day for Partial Front, one to two for the Full Front and Track jobs, and three to five when the whole Escape is filmed. The first wash waits a week. From then on, wash it by hand or at a touchless bay, keeping the wand’s nozzle clear of film edges. Ask for a price on the Escape PPF quote form; Escape window tint covers the glass.

Questions about ford Escape PPF

01Is Partial Front enough on an Escape that does the Highway 1 commute?

It protects the bumper cover and the forward stretch of hood and fenders, which catch the most stones. Full Front films both panels completely, so no edge line crosses the hood.

02Does PPF help an Escape's resale value?

It keeps chips off the panels it covers, which keeps the paint closer to how it left the factory. What a buyer pays for that is up to the buyer.

03Can PPF go on an Escape with paint already chipped?

Yes, but film won't hide existing chips. The paint is inspected first, and correction or touch-up comes before any film goes on.

04Should I coat the PPF on my Escape too?

You can. Coating the film helps it bead water and release road grime, and coating over PPF is part of the shop's Signature package.
