How much is PPF on a GV80?
LLumar Platinum on a GV80 is sold in four packages, from $850 up to $4,000. On a vehicle the size of a GV80, with three rows and long body sides, the final figure can be higher, and paint correction before filming adds to it.
| GV80 package | Panels | Starting price |
|---|---|---|
| Partial Front | The bumper, the first section of the hood and fenders, headlamps, mirrors | $850 |
| Full Front | Bumper, whole hood, whole front fenders, headlamps, mirrors | $1,550 |
| Track Package | Everything in Full Front, with the A-pillars, rockers and some roof | $1,900 |
| Full Vehicle | Every painted surface and the headlamps | $4,000 |
On a GV80, the Platinum film is backed by LLumar’s 10-year manufacturer’s limited warranty. Yellowing, cracking, bubbling and peeling are the defects the shop’s own terms spell out. The top coat heals light swirls with warmth. To see where Full Vehicle fits against the front packages, read the full body PPF page.
Does the GV80’s matte paint need different film?
Yes. A matte GV80 should get LLumar’s Platinum Matte, which keeps the finish flat; clear gloss film would leave shiny panels. Genesis’s 2027 GV80 pricing notes, on its GV80 highlights page, say that “$2,100 CAD Matte Paint Charge will apply” for the matte colours, against $900 for other paid colours.
The 2027 brochure in Genesis’s Download Centre offers Matterhorn White Matte, Makalu Gray Matte and Ceres Blue Matte, on the 3.5T Prestige only. The 2026 list added Storr Green Matte. The 2026 GV80 Owner’s Manual is blunt about repairs: on a matte finish, “The whole part must be repainted.” That’s the case for film on whichever panels you choose. Matte PPF vs a matte wrap compares the two ways of living with a flat finish.
Which parts of the GV80’s front end does the film cover?
Bumper, hood, fenders, mirrors and the headlamps, depending on the package. Genesis describes the GV80’s MLA headlamps as slim units in which “MLA technology uses 200 micro-optic lenses per module”, and every one of the four packages puts film over the headlamp lenses.
The grille isn’t filmed. On the 2026 GV80 it’s a Crest Grille with a chrome G-Matrix pattern, and on the GV80 Black, Genesis lists a dark chrome radiator grille along with dark chrome door handle accents, fascia accents and window mouldings. Those are trim, not paint. Along the sides, Genesis’s “parabolic line” extends across the doors, and those long door panels are covered only in Full Vehicle.
What does the GV80 manual say about film near the cameras and radar?
Keep it clear of both. The 2026 manual’s diagrams place a radar at the front, corner radars at the front on cars that have them, and corner radars at the rear. It tells owners to keep stickers, film, bumper guards and bumper wraps away from the radar, and to keep the radar covers clean.
The surround view system adds wide view cameras around the vehicle. For those, the manual says: “Do not apply objects, such as a bumper sticker or a bumper guard, near the wide view cameras or apply paint to the bumper.” The bumper patterns are planned around every radar zone, camera and parking sensor, and any relief cut a curve demands is pointed out to you before the film goes down.
How do you book GV80 PPF in Langley?
Send the year, trim and colour, and flag a matte finish up front so the right film is planned. The shop confirms the starting price, inspects the paint on arrival and explains any correction before work starts.
Plan one day for Partial Front, one to two for Full Front or the Track Package, and three to five for Full Vehicle. Leave it a week before the first wash, then hand wash or use a touchless bay. Request a figure through the GV80 PPF quote form, and ask about GV80 window tint for the same visit.
