What does PPF cost on a Hyundai Elantra?
$850 for Partial Front, rising to $4,000 for Full Vehicle; each package uses LLumar Platinum and carries LLumar’s 10-year limited warranty. Those are starting prices; the final figure follows the panels, how complex they are and what condition the paint is in.
| Package | Panels on an Elantra | From |
|---|---|---|
| Partial Front | Bumper, headlights, mirrors and a forward strip of hood and fenders | $850 |
| Full Front | Hood and fenders edge to edge, with bumper, headlights and mirrors | $1,550 |
| Track Package | Full Front, then A-pillars, a section of roof and the rockers | $1,900 |
| Full Vehicle | Every painted panel plus the headlights | $4,000 |
Partial Front usually needs one day in the shop. Full Front and Track can run to two days, and Full Vehicle to five. Platinum’s top coat heals light swirls with warmth, and the shop’s published warranty terms cover yellowing, cracking, bubbling and peeling. What the larger front package adds is set out on the Full Front PPF page.
Why does the Elantra’s nose collect so many chips?
Because it sits close to the road. Hyundai’s 2026 Elantra specification sheet gives it 5.3 inches of ground clearance, 5.5 on the N Line, so the bumper and the leading edge of the hood ride in the spray of grit thrown back by the car ahead.
Hyundai treats those chips as more than cosmetic. The Elantra’s maintenance chapter names paint removed “by stones, gravel, abrasion” as a common cause of corrosion and says chips should be touched up as soon as possible. For a car that commutes on Highway 1, Full Front puts film across the whole hood and both fenders with no edge line on them; Partial Front guards the bumper, which takes the most hits, for less. PPF coverage for Highway 1 commuters weighs the two.
Where are the sensors on an Elantra’s front end?
Behind the grille and up at the windshield, not in the painted bumper skin. The 2025 Elantra driver assistance chapter says the front radar, where fitted, is mounted behind the front grille, and the front view camera sits inside, near the top of the windshield. At the back, the rear corner radars sit near the corners above the bumper.
Hyundai’s radar warnings are specific:
- No film or bumper wrap near the radar, along with licence plate frames, stickers and bumper guards.
- Genuine Hyundai parts for any bumper repair where the radar sits.
- A replaced, damaged or repainted bumper around the radar can stop the driver assistance systems working properly.
The packages cover painted panels, and the grille isn’t one, so ask the shop to show where the film will stop around the grille opening, and around the rear corners if you’re doing Full Vehicle. The manual describes parking sensors “if equipped”, but neither Hyundai Canada’s 2026 trim card nor the US spec sheet lists them on any Elantra.
Does the Elantra N Line need a different template?
Yes. Hyundai Canada’s 2026 Elantra card gives the N Line Ultimate its own sport front fascia and rear bumper, a dark chrome grille, a rear diffuser, and gloss black mirror caps, rear lip spoiler, window beltline and side sill mouldings. Its bumper film comes from a different pattern than an Essential’s or a Luxury’s, so name the trim when you ask for a price.
Other trims differ in smaller ways. The Essential has a black painted grille and body-colour heated mirrors; the Luxury adds a chrome-coated grille, a body colour bumper and LED turn signals in the mirror housings. Every package includes the mirrors, so their finish doesn’t change the coverage.
Hyundai Canada’s 2026 colours include Abyss Black Pearl, Atlas White Metallic, Amazon Grey Pearl and Ecotronic Grey Pearl. On gloss paint like these, Platinum Gloss disappears; Platinum Matte would turn the covered panels satin.
How do you book Elantra PPF in Langley?
Tell the shop the year, trim and colour, plus the package that interests you. Before any film goes down, the paint is inspected, decontaminated and, where it needs it, corrected, since clear film shows every flaw beneath it.
After pickup, wait seven days before washing, then skip brush washes in favour of hand or touchless ones. Hyundai’s maintenance chapter warns that high-pressure water can damage cameras, sensors and trim, and the same goes for film edges, so keep the wand back. Start with the Elantra PPF quote form, and see Hyundai Elantra window tint if the rear glass is due as well.
