How much is PPF on a Jeep Grand Cherokee?
Before tax, the four packages begin at $850 and $1,550 for the two front options, then $1,900 for Track and $4,000 for the whole SUV. Those are floors: the final figure comes from the trim, how much of the front fascia is painted, and whether it’s the two-row or the L.
| Package | From | Covers | On a Grand Cherokee |
|---|---|---|---|
| Partial Front | $850 | Bumper, front of the hood and fenders, headlights, mirrors | The fascia’s painted surfaces plus the leading edge of the hood |
| Full Front | $1,550 | Full hood, fenders and bumper, headlights, mirrors | The long hood back to the windshield |
| Track Package | $1,900 | Full Front, plus A-pillars, rockers and part of the roof | Adds the sills below the doors and the front of the roof |
| Full Vehicle | $4,000 | All painted surfaces, headlights | Doors, rear quarters and liftgate as well |
The film is LLumar Platinum, which heals light swirls with warmth. It comes in gloss or matte and is cut from a software template, wrapping round edges wherever a panel permits; where the fascia forces a relief cut, you’re shown the spot beforehand. Platinum has a 10-year LLumar limited warranty behind it, and the shop’s terms single out yellowing, cracking, bubbling and peeling.
Which Grand Cherokee trims have a painted lower bumper?
It depends on the trim, and it changes what Partial Front protects. Jeep’s 2025 Canadian feature list and later announcements give these front ends:
| Grand Cherokee | Front fascia Jeep lists |
|---|---|
| Laredo and Limited, 2025 | Body colour with a molded-in-colour lower fascia and bright chrome lower insert |
| Overland, 2025 | Its own fascia, with a body-colour lower fascia and bright chrome lower insert |
| Summit, 2025 | Body-colour upper and lower fascia, painted grille textures, platinum chrome insert |
| Limited Reserve, 2026 | Body-colour painted lower fascias |
| Laredo Upland, 2027 | Trailhawk-inspired front fascia |
The Limited Reserve row is from the 2026 Canadian press kit and the Upland row from Jeep’s 2027 announcement. A painted lower fascia sits lowest and closest to the spray off the road, so on an Overland or Summit it’s some of the most exposed paint on the SUV, and Partial Front is good value. On a Laredo or Limited, the moulded-in black lower section isn’t paint, so more of the money goes onto the upper fascia and hood edge.
What sits behind the Grand Cherokee’s grille and fascia?
A radar and several air openings. Jeep’s 2022 Canadian press kit says the wider seven-slot grille and new front fascia conceal “a long-range radar sensor and other advanced technology features”, and lists active grille shutters, front wheel spats and air curtains among the aero changes.
All of that shapes the film plan. The software template follows the fascia’s openings, and anything that looks out through the bumper needs a clear view, so the film has to stop around it. When you book, say which driver-assist features your Grand Cherokee has and ask where each edge will sit around the sensors.
Is the long hood worth covering edge to edge?
On a Grand Cherokee used on the highway, yes. The same 2022 kit describes “an elongated, level-set hood”, which puts a long, level panel straight in the path of anything thrown up by the traffic ahead. Speed makes it worse: TranBC’s numbers show the impact energy roughly doubling between 80 and 110 km/h.
Partial Front ends part of the way up the hood, which leaves a film edge across the middle of a long panel. Full Front covers the whole hood to the windshield, so on this SUV it’s the package to price first. The Full Front page shows the coverage in detail.
How big is a Grand Cherokee to film all over?
Big, and bigger again as an L. The 2026 Canadian specifications give the two-row 4,914 mm of length, a 1,968 mm body width and 1,799 mm of height on the standard suspension, built as a steel uniframe. The Grand Cherokee L runs to 5,204 mm.
The roof is a factor on some trims. Jeep’s 2025 list puts a Gloss Black roof on every Summit and offers it on the Overland, and the Track Package’s partial roof covers its leading edge. For 2026 Jeep added three paint colours, Steel Blue, Copper Shino and Fathom Blue, and gloss film keeps their shine while matte turns them satin.
How do you book Grand Cherokee PPF in Langley?
Give the model year, two-row or L, the trim and appearance package, which coverage you’re leaning towards, and gloss or matte. A photo of the front fascia shows what’s painted. Ask for a figure through the PPF quote form, or text photos and details to 604 534 6433.
A Partial Front job normally wraps up in a day. Full Front or Track takes one to two days, and covering the whole SUV takes three to five. Decontamination comes first, with correction only if the paint calls for it. Give it a week before washing; after that, hand or touchless washes are fine as long as the pressure wand stays off the edges. Partial vs full front PPF compares the two front options head to head.
