What does an Audi RS7 wrap cost and cover?
It’s quoted per car. Coverage, the film and its finish, and how many parts come off for tucked edges all move the price, so the shop needs your RS7’s details before it gives a number.
| Wrap | What it covers | In the shop |
|---|---|---|
| Full colour change | Every exterior panel, with door jambs if you want them | 3 to 5 days |
| Partial | A roof, hood, mirror caps or the spoiler on its own | Same day up to 2 days |
The vinyl is 3M or Avery Dennison cast film, which the shop publishes with a 5-year manufacturer warranty. Door jambs add time; wrapping door jambs explains when they’re worth it.
Can vinyl match Audi’s RS7 colours?
It can get close, but the names change. Audi’s exterior design notes list thirteen RS7 paint finishes, including the RS-specific Nardo gray and Sebring black crystal effect, plus five matte effect finishes offered only on the RS6 and RS7. The RS7 performance release brought the count to 16, adding metallic and matte Ascari Blue and matte Dew Silver.
Wrap films come in their makers’ own colours, so you pick from 3M and Avery samples, held against the car in daylight. Nardo grey in vinyl shows how one of those Audi shades carries over. If what you want is a matte finish on gloss paint, matte PPF versus a matte wrap compares the two routes.
What happens to the RS7’s mirrors, blades and badges?
They can match the new colour or stay as contrast. Audi fits the RS7’s mirror housings in gloss black as standard, with matte aluminium or body colour as options, and three styling packages in matte aluminium, gloss black or carbon cover the flaps, blades, sill inlays, window slot trims and rear diffuser clip.
On the RS7 performance, the mirrors, front spoiler, side flaps, sill inserts and side-window trim come in matte grey as standard. The rings and RS badges can be chrome or black depending on the order, or left off entirely. A colour change can leave that black trim as it is; if it’s the bright pieces you want gone, the RS7 chrome delete covers that on its own.
How long will an RS7 wrap last in BC?
Several years, with flat panels ageing first. 3M’s zone list places Canada in Zone 2, and the 2080 warranty card sets Zone 2 at seven years for vertical surfaces and two for horizontal ones like the hood and roof. Avery Dennison’s zone for BC isn’t confirmed, so ask which terms apply to your film.
Wash by hand or touchless, never with brushes, and keep pressure-washer jets off the edges. The shop notes that satin and matte finishes stain easily, so take bird droppings and bugs off promptly.
Booking an RS7 wrap in Langley
Send photos, the year, whether it’s an RS7 or RS7 performance, and the colour or finish you want. The paint is checked before any vinyl goes on: healthy factory paint is fine, while resprayed panels can lift when the wrap is removed, and you’re told before work begins.
Ask for a price through the RS7 wrap quote form or call 604 534 6433. When the wrap eventually comes off, whether a car wrap can be removed explains what to expect, and Audi RS7 PPF is the clear-film alternative if the colour is staying.
