How is a Bentley ceramic coating quoted?
Per car, from the paint’s condition and the package you choose. There’s no published price list for coatings.
- Essential: one layer of graphene-ceramic over prepared paint.
- Performance: two layers, laid over a two-stage correction.
- Signature: four layers, over full correction.
Whichever you choose, the car is in for one to three days, most of it correction and curing, and it should stay dry for 24 hours after pickup.
Which Bentley finishes does the coating go over?
Gloss paint in most cases, but rarely a plain one. Bentley’s own releases describe a palette built around metallics and personal specification:

Give the shop the exact paint name with the year. With a palette this wide, the name is the quickest way to know what’s on the car, and whether any panel is satin or two-tone.
What about a Bentley’s brightwork, wheels and roof?
Each is its own line on the quote. The Flying Spur page lists Granite brightware on the Speed and Beluga black mirror caps and sill extensions on the S, so two Spurs can need different plans. Bentley’s 2026 Flying Spur launch release also describes a Virtuoso Collection whose Champagne Gold detailing runs to the winged badges and exhaust finishers. Blackline cars swap chrome for gloss black, which is prepared with the paint. Tell the shop which of these your car has, so every finish is on the plan before work starts.
Mirror-polished or two-finish wheels can be coated as a separate item; the wheel coating page covers how. On a Continental GT Convertible, the seven-bow roof is fabric, offered in seven colours including tweed, and isn’t part of a paint package.
Does Bentley paint need correction before it’s coated?
Often a little, even on a recent car, since a coating seals the surface as it is. Paint thickness is measured first, and correction is done panel by panel under inspection lighting.
The options are an enhancement polish (about a day), a two-stage correction (one to two days) or a multi-stage restoration priced once the paint has been inspected.
