Where does a C-Class carry chrome from the factory?
Mostly at the front, and it moves around by package and year. Mercedes’s 2021 launch release for the current generation says the standard exterior has decorative elements in the grille louvres and chrome surrounds on the radiator grille and front bumper, while the AMG Line gets a diamond grille with a chrome star pattern.

The AMG C 43 details come from the 2023 AMG C-Class guide, and the 2027 details from Mercedes’s August 2026 C-Class release, which covers the facelift reaching U.S. dealers in the first half of 2027. How much does the Night Package already black out?
Some of it, depending on what was ordered. Mercedes-Benz Canada sells the AMG Line with Night Package and says it adds “gloss black exterior elements”, and Mercedes-Benz USA describes the same option as the gloss black accents of the Night Package. For 2026 the AMG Line became available with or without it, per the 2026 model line updates, so two AMG Line cars on the same lot can look quite different.
On the 2027 car, the new AMG Line Plus includes the Night Package and adds a gloss black spoiler lip and tailpipe trim. Mercedes doesn’t publish a piece-by-piece list for any of these packages, so the quote works from what’s still bright on your car rather than from the order sheet.
What happens with the lit grille on a 2027 C-Class?
It gets a conversation before any vinyl is cut. Mercedes says the 2027 grille has LED lighting built into its chrome surround and an illuminated star in the middle, the first time a C-Class grille has been lit. Covering a lit part changes how it looks after dark, so the shop sets out what can be wrapped there and what should stay as Mercedes built it.
Two more limits apply on any C-Class. Lamps aren’t part of a chrome delete, so the headlamps and taillights, including the star-design units on the 2027 car, stay as they are. Gloss or satin black for C-Class trim?
Gloss black is the closer match to Mercedes’s own black trim on this car. The 2027 update places a gloss black panel between the grille and headlamps and puts gloss black elements on the front bumper corners, and the Night Package’s own accents are gloss.
Satin suits a car with a matte Magno finish or satin wheels, and it shows fingerprints less. 3M and Avery Dennison make both, and the shop holds swatches against your paint before you choose.
How do you book a C-Class chrome delete in Langley?
Photograph the grille, front bumper, window line, badges and rear bumper trim in daylight, and send the photos with the year, the model and whether it has the AMG Line or Night Package. The reply lists which pieces get vinyl and which stay bright.
