How much is PPF on a Honda Civic?
From $850 for the smallest package to $4,000 for the whole car, all in LLumar Platinum. Those are floors, not fixed prices: the final figure depends on the Civic’s year and trim, how complex the panels are, and how much paint correction the car needs first.
| Package | What it covers | From |
|---|---|---|
| Partial Front | Full bumper, partial hood, partial fenders, headlights, side mirrors | $850 |
| Full Front | Full hood, full fenders, full bumper, headlights, side mirrors | $1,550 |
| Track Package | Full front plus partial roof, A-pillars, rocker panels | $1,900 |
| Full Vehicle | All painted surfaces, headlights | $4,000 |
Platinum heals light swirls with heat, and each piece is cut by software for the Civic’s panels, its edges tucked around them wherever the shape permits. LLumar backs the film for 10 years under its limited warranty; yellowing, cracking, bubbling and peeling are the defects the shop names as covered.
Why does the Civic’s long hood matter for PPF coverage?
On the current Civic, a partial front leaves more bare hood behind its cut line than it would on a stubbier car. In its 11th-generation launch release, Honda says it moved the base of the windshield pillars back nearly 2 inches, “which elongates its hood”, and describes “a low hood and front fenders”.
Speed makes the difference on BC highways. TranBC explains that winter grit on main routes can be up to 9.5 mm across, and that a stone met at 110 km/h hits with almost twice the energy it would at 80. On a Civic commuting on Highway 1, the bumper and the front of that long hood take those hits first. For a side-by-side of the two front packages, see partial versus full front PPF.
Did the 2025 Civic refresh change the front end?
Yes. Honda’s 2025 Civic announcement gave every 2025 Civic “a new more aggressive front fascia and grille”, and gave the new hybrid trims their own body-coloured trim around the headlamps plus a front lower spoiler. So a 2022 to 2024 Civic and a 2025 or later car don’t share a bumper pattern, and a hybrid’s nose differs from a gas car’s.
This is why the year and trim go on the quote. The film is cut by software to the exact bumper, and on a hybrid the painted garnish and lower spoiler are extra surface in the zone where chips land. Where a bumper’s shape forces a relief cut, the shop shows you where it will go before the film is laid.
What sensors sit in a Civic’s front end?
Honda says Honda Sensing on the 11th-generation Civic “uses a new single-camera system” in place of “the previous radar-and-camera based system”. Going by that description, Honda Sensing has no radar behind the bumper for the film to work around.
Parking sensors are a trim question. On Honda Canada’s 2026 sedan specifications, only the Sport Touring Hybrid has them, and the hatchback specifications give them to the top trim alone. If your Civic has them, ask how the bumper film will be cut around each one.
Gloss or matte film on a Civic?
Gloss Platinum keeps the factory finish, so a Rallye Red or Platinum White Pearl car looks the same after the film goes on. Platinum Matte turns gloss paint satin while protecting it, which suits drivers who want a different look on a Sport trim without a wrap. Both carry the same 10-year limited term on LLumar’s Platinum page.
How do you book Civic PPF in Langley?
Tell the shop the model year, the body (sedan or hatchback), the trim, the paint colour and the package on your mind. Before any film, the Civic gets a decontamination wash and whatever correction the paint calls for.
Budget one day for the partial front, up to two for the full front or Track Package, and three to five days to do every panel. Give the film a week before its first wash. Book through the Civic PPF quote form, or read the full front PPF page for the package that covers the whole hood.
