What does paint protection film cost on a CR-V?
Four levels of coverage, priced from $850 to $4,000 to start, and all of them in LLumar Platinum. Where your CR-V lands depends on the level, which bumper your trim has and how healthy the paint is.
| CR-V coverage | What’s filmed | Starting at |
|---|---|---|
| Partial Front | Bumper, forward portion of hood and fenders, headlamp lenses, mirror shells | $850 |
| Full Front | Hood and fenders edge to edge, bumper, headlamp lenses, mirror shells | $1,550 |
| Track Package | Everything in Full Front, with A-pillars, roof front and sills added | $1,900 |
| Full Vehicle | Every painted panel of the CR-V, headlamps too | $4,000 |
Expect the CR-V back the same day for Partial Front, after a day or two for Full Front or Track, and after three to five days for the full car. The 10-year limited cover on Platinum is LLumar’s; bubbling, peeling, yellowing and cracking are the faults the shop lists under it. What each package leaves bare is spelled out on the partial front PPF page.
Which parts of a CR-V’s front end take the hits?
The bumper face and the leading edge of the hood, first. Honda describes the sixth-generation CR-V’s nose as a grille and lower front fascia that “combine to give the CR-V a bold and purposeful look”, and that combined face is what grit from the vehicle ahead strikes.
A few details shape the film around them:
- Active shutter grille. Honda lists it from the LX up: shutters close for aerodynamics and open when the engine bay needs air. The shutters sit behind the grille opening, so the film covers the painted bumper around it.
- LED headlights on every trim. Headlights are part of every package, so the lenses get the same protection from pitting as the paint.
- Mirrors with LED turn signals. Honda’s US guide lists body-colour mirrors with integrated turn indicators on lower trims and gloss black ones on the Sport Hybrid and Sport-L Hybrid. Either way, the film is trimmed around the signal lens.
If your CR-V spends most of its time on Highway 1, the Highway 1 commuter coverage answer weighs Partial against Full Front for that drive.
Does the TrailSport Hybrid need a different PPF pattern?
Yes. Honda Canada’s release for the 2026 refresh gives the TrailSport Hybrid “a more ruggedly styled front fascia with a silver skid garnish”, a TrailSport-only silver rear lower bumper garnish, a piano black rear spoiler, and black door handles and window surrounds.
| CR-V area | TrailSport Hybrid | Other 2026 trims |
|---|---|---|
| Front fascia | Own design with silver skid garnish | Standard CR-V fascia |
| Rear lower bumper | Silver garnish | Standard |
| Rear spoiler | Piano black | Per trim |
| Exclusive colour | Ash Green Pearl | None |
The front template therefore differs, and the silver garnish is a separate part rather than painted bumper. If you want the piano black spoiler covered as well, ask for it to be quoted on top of the package you choose.
What sensors are around a CR-V’s bumpers?
Honda Sensing is standard on every CR-V, with collision mitigation braking and adaptive cruise control looking ahead. From the EX-L in the US lineup, front and rear parking sensors and Low-Speed Braking Control are added, so those bumpers carry sensor heads the film has to clear.
Give the shop your exact trim so the template matches the sensor layout on your bumpers, and ask to see where each film edge will fall around the sensor heads before work begins.
How do you book CR-V PPF in Langley?
Send the model year, the trim (LX, Sport, Sport Hybrid, TrailSport Hybrid, EX-L Hybrid or Touring Hybrid for 2026) and the colour, with the package you have in mind. The shop inspects the paint, confirms the template and gives you a price and a drop-off day. Start with the CR-V PPF quote form. Glass work can go in the same visit: CR-V window tint covers the five rear panes from $260.
