What does PPF cost on a Honda Pilot?
For a Pilot, the four LLumar Platinum packages are floors rather than fixed prices: Partial Front begins at $850 and Full Vehicle at $4,000. Honda Canada’s 2026 specifications give it a length of 5,083 mm on every trim, so each panel in a package is a large one.
| Package | From | What it covers | On a Pilot |
|---|---|---|---|
| Partial Front | $850 | Full bumper, partial hood, partial fenders, headlights, side mirrors | The front fascia, both LED headlights, the mirrors and the front section of the hood |
| Full Front | $1,550 | Full hood, full fenders, full bumper, headlights, side mirrors | All of the hood and both front fenders, no edge part way up |
| Track Package | $1,900 | Full front plus partial roof, A-pillars, rocker panels | Adds the sills below all four doors and the windshield pillars |
| Full Vehicle | $4,000 | All painted surfaces, headlights | The doors, the roof and the power tailgate as well |
The film heals light scratches by itself and carries LLumar’s 10-year limited warranty, for which the shop’s published cover names yellowing, cracking, bubbling and peeling. What a given Pilot costs depends on its size, the shape of its panels and its paint. Prep comes first: a decontamination wash, plus correction if the paint needs it, then the film, with edges turned around each panel wherever possible.
Why does the Pilot’s front emblem stay uncovered?
Because Honda’s radar sits behind it. The owner’s manual Radar Sensor page places the sensor behind the front grille’s Honda emblem and lists “stickers, paint, accessories, decals, or film” among the things not to put on the area around it.
The windshield camera has its own note. Honda’s Front Sensor Camera page tells owners never to apply film or attach objects to the windshield, hood or front grille that could block the camera’s view. Clear PPF lies flat on the paint rather than standing up from it, but if you want certainty about the hood, put the question to your Honda dealer before booking; the emblem area is left bare either way. TrailSport, Touring and Black Edition trims also have a multi-view camera system with front and rear camera washers, and the film stays off those lenses.
How do the parking sensors change a Pilot’s bumper pattern?
They add cut-outs. Honda Canada lists parking sensors on the EX-L, TrailSport, Touring and Black Edition, four in the front bumper and four in the rear, and none on the Sport.
Honda’s Sonar Sensors page says not to place stickers or other objects on or around them, and to see a dealer if work needs to be done near one. So the bumper template is chosen for your trim and the film stops short of each sensor. That’s why two Pilots of the same model year can need different front patterns.
Which Pilot trims change what the front package meets?
The lower trim and the ride height. Honda’s sheet shows the finish changing by trim, and the TrailSport sits higher than the rest.
| 2026 Pilot | Bumper skid garnish | Side mirrors | Ground clearance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sport | Gloss black | Gloss black | 185 mm |
| EX-L | Painted metal silver | Body colour | 185 mm |
| TrailSport | Gloss black | Black | 210 mm |
| Touring | Painted metal silver | Body colour | 185 mm |
| Black Edition | Gloss black | Gloss black | 185 mm |
Every package includes the side mirrors, gloss black or body colour. The TrailSport adds all-terrain tires and underbody protection, which shields what’s under the vehicle but not the paint along the doors; on gravel, the sills behind the front wheels are what the Track Package or rocker panel PPF covers. For Highway 1 driving, how to guard against Highway 1 rock chips weighs the front packages.
How do you book PPF for a Pilot in Langley?
Give the model year, trim and colour, which package you’re after and the finish, gloss or matte. Honda’s 2026 Pilot colours run from Platinum White Pearl and Solar Silver Metallic to Crystal Black Pearl, Ash Green Metallic and Radiant Red Metallic II, and LLumar Platinum Matte turns any of them satin. Send it with the Pilot PPF quote form, or put the same details in a text to 604 534 6433.
Full Vehicle keeps a Pilot three to five days, Full Front or the Track Package a day or two, and Partial Front roughly one. Don’t wash it for the first seven days; after that, a mitt and bucket or a touchless bay only. Honda’s exterior care page asks for more frequent washing on salted roads, a good distance between a pressure nozzle and the body, and no spray aimed straight at the cameras; with film on, keep that nozzle off the edges too. The Full Front page sets out what the bigger front package adds.
