Hyundai Palisade PPF in Langley, BC

At a glance

Paint protection film on a Hyundai Palisade begins at $850 for Partial Front at Brookswood Tint. The film is self-healing LLumar Platinum, backed by LLumar's 10-year limited warranty. Full Front begins at $1,550, Track at $1,900, and Full Vehicle at $4,000. At about five metres long and 1,980 mm wide, a Palisade can quote above those floors, and the film is planned around the radar and parking sensors in its bumper.

What does PPF cost on a Hyundai Palisade?

$850 is the floor, for Partial Front in LLumar Platinum, and Full Vehicle starts at $4,000. All four packages use the same self-healing film, installed from software-cut templates with edges wrapped wherever the panel allows.

Package Panels From
Partial Front Bumper in full, partial hood and fenders, headlights, mirrors $850
Full Front Whole hood, whole fenders, bumper, headlights, mirrors $1,550
Track Package Everything in Full Front, with the A-pillars, a roof section and the rockers $1,900
Full Vehicle All painted surfaces and the headlights $4,000

A three-row SUV this size uses more film than a compact, and a bumper with many sensor cut-outs takes longer, so your quote can land above the starting figure. Paint is decontaminated first and corrected if it needs it. Platinum carries LLumar’s 10-year limited warranty, and the shop’s terms cover yellowing, cracking, bubbling and peeling; the film is described on the LLumar Platinum page.

Which Palisade front end does your trim have?

One of three. Hyundai Canada’s 2027 spec sheet gives the XRT Pro an exclusive grille and bumpers and the Ultimate Calligraphy its own grille and bumper, while the Preferred Trend and the Luxury hybrid share the standard design.

2027 trim Front design Length Height Ground clearance
Preferred Trend, Luxury hybrid Standard 5,060 mm 1,805 mm 187 mm
XRT Pro XRT grille and bumpers, 18-inch all-terrain tires 5,090 mm 1,830 mm 212 mm
Ultimate Calligraphy, gas or hybrid Calligraphy grille and bumper, 21-inch wheels 5,065 mm 1,805 mm 187 mm

Every trim is 1,980 mm wide. Since the bumper is the first panel in every package, the template has to match your trim’s parts, so give the shop the trim name and not just “2027 Palisade”.

How is film planned around the Palisade’s radar and sensors?

By leaving them clear. Hyundai’s 2026 Palisade manual places a front radar, front corner radars, front ultrasonic sensors, front side ultrasonic sensors and a wide-front/side view camera on the vehicle, and its radar section says not to fit “bumper sticker, film, bumper guard, or bumper wrap near the radar.”

It goes further for the whole front end: do not attach “accessories, moldings, stickers, films, wrapping, etc., to the sensors and surrounding areas.” Front parking sensors are standard on all 2027 trims, and every trim except the Preferred Trend adds side parking sensors and a surround-view camera. Ask the shop to mark where the film will stop around each of them before work starts.

Where does a Palisade pick up rock chips?

On the bumper face, the front of the hood, the headlight lenses and the mirror caps, the surfaces that meet gravel head-on. At 1,805 mm tall on most trims, the Palisade shows the road a big, upright front face, and Partial Front puts film on most of it.

Winter grit is the main supply around Langley. TranBC caps highway abrasive at 9.5 mm and warns that raising speed from 80 to 110 km/h roughly doubles what a stone delivers on impact. If your Palisade spends time on gravel, the Track Package adds the rocker panels where wheel spray lands. Partial versus full front PPF helps you decide how far back to go.

What if your Palisade has matte paint?

Then film is worth more. Hyundai’s maintenance chapter carries notes for Palisades with a matte finish (marked “if equipped”): no brush car washes, no wax or polish, and a repair that repaints the whole part, since Hyundai says the damaged spot alone can’t be redone. LLumar Platinum Matte keeps that satin look while taking the chips; PPF on matte paint explains how the finish behaves under film.

How do you book Palisade PPF in Langley?

Tell the shop your Palisade’s year, trim and colour, and which package appeals. The shop looks over the paint, sets the price for your trim’s bumper and confirms timing: Partial Front in about a day, Full Front or Track over one to two days, Full Vehicle over three to five. Request it on the Palisade PPF quote form. The glass can be done in the same visit; Palisade window tint starts at $260 for the rear windows.

Questions about hyundai Palisade PPF

01Does film cover the Palisade's front parking sensors?

No. Hyundai's manual says not to attach film or wrapping to the sensors or the area around them, so the film should stop short of each sensor and radar cover. Ask the installer to show you where those edges will sit.

02Is the XRT Pro priced differently from other Palisades?

It can be. Hyundai gives the XRT Pro its own grille and bumpers, so its front pattern differs, and the quote follows those parts rather than the standard Palisade's.

03Can a matte Palisade get paint protection film?

Yes. LLumar Platinum comes in a matte version that keeps a satin look, and Hyundai's manual notes that a damaged matte panel has to be repainted whole, which makes protecting it worth more.

04How soon can I wash my Palisade after PPF?

The shop asks you to wait a week, then hand wash or use a touchless bay. Keep pressure-washer nozzles off film edges and sensors.
