What does PPF cost on a Kia Niro?
Partial Front starts at $850 and Full Vehicle at $4,000, with two steps in between. Each package uses LLumar Platinum, a self-healing gloss film, installed from software-cut templates with the edges wrapped wherever the panel allows.

Those are starting prices. Paint that needs correcting first, or a trim with more cut-outs in the bumper, can raise the figure. Can film go over the Niro’s front radar?
No, and Kia says so directly. On Niros with the sensor-fusion version of Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, a front radar works alongside the windshield camera, and the owner’s manual tells owners: “Do not apply license plate frame or objects, such as a bumper sticker, film or a bumper guard, near the front radar cover.”
The same page warns that painting or swapping the cover can stop the system working properly. So on a Niro with that radar, the bumper film should stop short of the cover and leave it bare. Before the job, ask the installer to show you where that edge will sit on your bumper; on a Niro it’s part of the plan, not an afterthought.
Which Niro trims have parking sensors in the bumpers?
It depends on the trim, and every sensor means another opening in the film. Kia Canada’s 2026 Niro Hybrid specifications and 2026 Niro EV specifications list:

A Hybrid SX or EV Wave therefore needs a front pattern with sensor openings that an LX doesn’t. The skid plate accents are trim pieces, not paint; the packages are written for painted panels, so ask if you want those pieces covered as well.
Where does a Niro collect stone chips around Langley?
On the paint that meets the road first: the bumper face, the front edge of the hood, the fender tips and the mirror housings. Partial Front is drawn around exactly those spots.
Most of the damage comes from winter grit. TranBC caps highway winter abrasive at 9.5 mm and notes that going from 80 to 110 km/h “will almost double the impact energy”. Kia’s exterior care guidance says deep scratches and stone chips “must be repaired promptly” because exposed metal quickly rusts, which is a good argument for filming the nose before the first winter rather than after. How do you wash a Niro once it has PPF?
Gently, and with the nozzle kept back. Wait a week before the first wash, then hand wash or use a touchless bay, keep pressure nozzles off film edges and skip brush washes.
Kia adds a rule of its own in the same exterior care section: “Do not spray the camera, sensors or its surrounding area directly with a high pressure washer.” On a filmed Niro, that covers the radar cover, the parking sensors and the film edges cut around them, so one habit protects both.
