What does PPF cost on a Mercedes-Benz GLC?
GLC film starts at $850 and tops out at $4,000 before extras. Those are floor prices: a GLC’s broad hood and fenders, and the state of its paint, can push the final number up.

Why does the AMG Line change a GLC’s PPF plan?
Because it paints parts that are plain black on other GLCs. Mercedes-Benz USA says the AMG Line on the 2023 GLC SUV brought body-colour wheel arch liners to the GLC for the first time, and the AMG Line on the 2024 GLC Coupe has wheel arches painted body colour, with early Coupe deliveries arriving only with the AMG Line.
That paint is in the direct line of grit and slush off the tires, so the lower body is worth planning for on an AMG Line GLC: the Track Package adds the rockers between the wheels, and a Full Vehicle job takes in the arches too. Where does a GLC carry its cameras and sensors?
At both ends of the car and in the mirrors, with the exact layout varying by year. Mercedes gives the 2024 GLC Coupe a standard 360-degree Surround View camera system; the Coupe release says its four cameras sit front, rear and one per side, with the headlights running straight into the radiator grille.
The 2027 electric GLC goes much further. Mercedes’s launch release lists up to ten external cameras, five radar sensors and twelve ultrasonic sensors, and its optional illuminated grille panel carries 942 backlit dots. Templates are cut around camera lenses, and the shop checks how your GLC’s sensors sit before the film is finalized, so list the car’s options when you book.
Gloss or matte film on a GLC?
Match it to the paint. Mercedes-Benz Canada says the GLC SUV comes in “metallic, solid and matte Magno paints”, and for 2025 Mercedes-Benz USA added Verde Silver Metallic and MANUFAKTUR Alpine Grey to the palette, per its 2025 model line updates.
Platinum Gloss keeps metallic and solid colours looking as they left the factory.
