What does a Ram 2500 cost to cover in PPF?
Before tax, the four sit at $850, $1,550, $1,900 and $4,000 at minimum. A 2500 is a big truck, so those are floors, and the final number comes from your cab, box and trim.
| Package | From | Covers | What it means on a 2500 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Partial Front | $850 | Full bumper, partial hood and fenders, headlights, mirrors | Good value when the bumper is painted |
| Full Front | $1,550 | Full hood, fenders and bumper, headlights, mirrors | The whole aluminum hood, Sport Performance hood included |
| Track Package | $1,900 | Full Front plus partial roof, A-pillars, rockers | Adds the cab sills and the windshield pillars |
| Full Vehicle | $4,000 | All painted surfaces, headlights | Doors, box sides and tailgate too |
Platinum’s top coat heals light marks when warmed, and it’s offered in gloss or matte. The film is cut by software to each panel, with edges tucked round wherever the panel allows. Platinum carries LLumar’s own 10-year limited warranty, while the shop’s published terms cover yellowing, cracking, bubbling and peeling.
Which Ram 2500 trims have painted bumpers and flares?
It changes trim by trim, and it decides whether Partial Front is worth buying. Ram Canada’s 2026 Ram 2500 page and the 2027 Canadian feature list give these finishes:
| Ram 2500 trim or package | Bumpers and flares Ram lists |
|---|---|
| Big Horn, 2026 | Chrome bumpers |
| Black Express, 2026 | Body-colour bumpers and grille surround |
| Night Edition (Big Horn, Laramie, Limited), 2027 | Body-colour front and rear bumpers and mirror caps |
| Sport Appearance Group (Big Horn, Laramie), 2027 | Body-colour bumpers, header and lower applique |
| Power Wagon, 2027 | Black powder-coated bumpers, black flares |
| Laramie, 2027 | Body-colour fender flares, new as an option |
| Limited Longhorn and Limited, 2027 | Body-colour fender flares, standard |
On a chrome-bumper Big Horn, the painted metal up front is mostly hood and fenders, so Full Front does the real work. A Night Edition or Sport Appearance truck has a painted bumper that sits right in the spray off the road, which is where Partial Front earns its price.
Is the Ram 2500 hood worth filming edge to edge?
On most trucks, yes. Ram’s 2019 Heavy Duty launch kit says the redesign switched to an aluminum hood to save weight, and that hood is the broadest forward-facing panel on the truck.
The Sport Performance hood adds more shape to cover. According to the 2027 Canadian press kit, it’s now a standalone option on the Rebel and Power Wagon, and on a Big Horn with the Night Edition or Sport Appearance package. The feature list makes it standard on the Black Express and on Power Wagons with the diesel. Partial Front stops partway back along the hood, so a sculpted hood is better served by Full Front, which covers it to the windshield.
How big is a Ram 2500 to film all over?
Big. The 2027 Canadian specifications give an overall width of 2,120 mm and a Crew Cab length of 6,067 mm with the 6 ft 4 in box or 6,626 mm with the 8 ft box. Ram builds it with a steel cab on a ladder frame and a double-wall steel box.
That size is why Full Vehicle starts at $4,000 and a 2500 is quoted above it. If you want the most-hit areas without filming the box sides, the Track Package adds the rockers under the cab and the windshield pillars to Full Front. Mention RamBox, running boards or rock rails, since they change which painted edges are exposed. The truck PPF page compares the packages on pickups in general.
How do you book PPF for a Ram 2500 in Langley?
Send the year, cab, box length, trim and any appearance package, along with the package you’re leaning towards and gloss or matte. Photos of the front bumper and hood help the shop see what’s painted. Use the PPF quote form or text 604 534 6433.
Timing runs from a single day for Partial Front to one or two days for Full Front and Track, and three to five days for Full Vehicle. Before film goes on, the paint is decontaminated, then corrected where needed. Skip washing for the first week; from then on, wash by hand or touchless and don’t point a pressure nozzle at a film edge. Partial vs full front PPF helps if you can’t choose between the front packages.
