What can be wrapped on an Audi RS e-tron GT?
The whole body or any set of parts on it, over the factory paint. No wrap prices are published, so an RS e-tron GT is quoted on its version, its trim and the film you choose.
| RS e-tron GT wrap | What it covers | Days in the shop |
|---|---|---|
| Full colour change | All exterior panels; door jambs available | 3 to 5 |
| Black-optic trim | Rings, intakes, blades, diffuser channels, mirror caps | Same day to 2 |
| Mirrors or door inserts | A contrast colour on the pieces you pick | Same day to 2 |
| Accent stripes or graphics | Designed for the car | Quoted per design |
Vinyl leaves the paint underneath as it was and can be removed later with heat, provided that paint is original and in good shape. A wrap doesn’t guard against stone chips the way PPF does; matte PPF versus a matte wrap explains where each fits.
Which black and carbon trim did Audi already offer?
Plenty, which gives you a template to copy or to contrast. At launch, Audi’s 2021 design notes listed a black styling package covering the Singleframe, its mask, the sill area and door inserts, and the diffuser; a “plus” version added the rings and badges in gloss black, and three carbon packages, the largest with carbon on the air inlets, door inserts and diffuser, sat above them.
The 2024 update made dark rings standard on the RS models and introduced Black Optics, which on an RS paints the bumper’s L-blades and the aero channels in the diffuser gloss black, with matching mirror housings as an option. If your car left the factory without those, black vinyl on the same parts gives a similar look, the approach the shop uses for chrome delete work.
Does a contrast roof make sense on an RS e-tron GT?
Less than on most cars, because this roof is rarely painted. Audi made the e-tron GT’s standard roof “heat-insulating glass,” offered carbon fibre-reinforced polymer instead, and added an optional smart-glass panoramic roof in 2024; a matte, darkened carbon roof is an option on the performance model.
On most gloss cars the panel the shop is asked to wrap more than any other is the roof, in satin black, but on an RS e-tron GT the factory roof already reads dark. Put the budget into mirrors, blades or a full colour change instead, or ask at the quote what’s possible on your roof. Roof wraps covers the painted-roof version.
What should you know about colour and film warranty?
What Audi offered helps you choose a direction. The 2024 palette has nine finishes; Audi reserves Nimbus Gray for its RS versions and offers Bedford Green only on the performance model, and Audi’s exclusive edition, limited to 299 cars and offered in North America, added Arabica Gray. Gloss, satin, matte and colour-shift vinyl can take an RS e-tron GT well beyond Audi’s own palette.
For vinyl on an e-tron GT, the shop’s published terms promise a 5-year manufacturer warranty. Canada is Zone 2 in 3M’s warranty zone list, and the 3M 2080 card gives that zone seven years on the e-tron GT’s upright panels and two on its flat ones, so the e-tron GT’s long, flat hood sits on the shorter term.
What do you need to send for an RS e-tron GT wrap quote?
Send the year, version and current colour, list any Black Optics or carbon parts, and say what you want changed. Mention chips or paint repairs, since vinyl shows the surface beneath it.
A full colour change on an RS e-tron GT takes three to five days; trim, mirrors or blades can be done the same day or within two. Get your price from the RS e-tron GT wrap request or call 604 534 6433. Film is the tool for stopping chips; see Audi RS e-tron GT PPF.
