What does a Ford Mustang wrap cost?
It’s quoted per car; the shop doesn’t publish wrap prices. The figure depends on how much of the Mustang is covered, the film and finish you choose, and how many shapes the vinyl has to follow.
| Job on a Mustang | What’s covered | Time in the shop |
|---|---|---|
| Full colour change | Every exterior panel, door jambs available | 3 to 5 days |
| Partial and accents | Roof, hood, mirrors, spoiler or a full stripe kit | Same day to 2 days |
On a Mustang, the things that change the quote are the rear spoiler (Ford offers a wedge decklid spoiler, a raised performance wing on the GT, or neither), the hood vents on GT and Dark Horse models, and whether you want the door jambs done. Every wrap uses 3M or Avery Dennison cast film, gloss, satin, matte, metallic or colour-shift, and the paint underneath is left as it was.
Which factory Mustang looks can vinyl recreate?
Several of the appearance options Ford lists for the 2026 Mustang can be copied in vinyl on a car that left the factory without them:
| Ford’s 2026 option | Where Ford offers it | The vinyl version |
|---|---|---|
| Over-the-Top Racing Stripe: gloss grey and semi-gloss black, matte black with red accent, or opacity fade | EcoBoost and GT | A stripe kit in the colours and finish you pick |
| Painted black roof | EcoBoost, GT and convertible models | A black roof wrap, gloss or satin |
| Black mirror caps | Optional across the range | Mirror caps in black vinyl |
| Custom hood and accent stripe, vinyl or painted | Dark Horse only | A hood stripe in a low-gloss or gloss film |
Vinyl stripes come from the 3M and Avery Dennison colour ranges, not Ford’s, so choose the shade from samples rather than expecting an exact factory match. Bring a photo of the look you want and the shop will hold film against your paint. The roof wrap page covers the black-roof job in more detail.
What should you tell the shop before wrapping a Mustang?
Four things: the stripes, the spoiler, the paint and any chips. If the car already has a factory stripe, say whether it’s vinyl or painted; a vinyl stripe is a layer of film already on the paint, and the plan for new vinyl has to account for it. The spoiler matters because a raised wing and a spoiler delete leave very different decklids to cover.
If the paint is one of Ford’s extra-cost colours, such as Orange Fury Metallic Tri-coat or Molten Magenta Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, vinyl over it leaves it untouched for later. Vinyl is a colour change, not chip armour, and it lies over existing chips rather than filling them; read wrapping a car with rock chips if the nose is already marked. For impact protection, compare PPF and vinyl wrap, or plan Ford Mustang PPF for the nose alongside the wrap.
How long does vinyl last on a Mustang’s hood and roof?
Not as long as on the doors. Canada is Zone 2 on 3M’s warranty map, and in that zone 3M covers its 2080 film for 7 years on vertical panels but only 2 on horizontal ones. A Mustang’s long hood, roof and decklid face the sky, so those panels fall under the shorter figure, while the doors and fenders get the longer one.
On its own pages the shop quotes 5 years from the maker for the 3M and Avery Dennison films it fits. Avery’s figures depend on which climate zone applies to BC, which isn’t confirmed, so ask the shop for the term on the film you choose.
How do you book a Mustang wrap in Langley?
Send the year, trim and colour, say fastback or convertible, and describe the job: full colour change, stripes, roof, mirror caps or a mix. Include photos if the car has factory stripes or aftermarket aero. You’ll get a price and some drop-off dates back. Use the wrap quote form, and if you’re weighing a coating instead, the Mustang ceramic coating page sets out the packages.
