Mercedes-Benz AMG GT Ceramic Coating in Langley

At a glance

Brookswood Tint coats a Mercedes-AMG GT in graphene-ceramic in one of three packages, from a single layer on the paint to four layers over full correction with wheels, glass and trim included, and quotes each GT on its paint and condition. Paint choice matters on this car: Mercedes lists more than 70 colours for the GT, matte Magno finishes among them, and matte paint isn't machine-polished before coating.

How is a ceramic coating priced on an AMG GT?

Per car, from the package and the state of the paint. The shop doesn’t publish coating prices, because the correction underneath can range from none to several stages, and correction is what moves the number most.

Package Layers and preparation What gets coated
Essential A single coat The paint
Performance Two coats after a two-stage correction Paint, the faces of the wheels, glass
Signature Four coats after a full correction Paint, any PPF, wheels, glass, trim

Before any polishing, the shop measures how thick the paint is. Add-ons include wheel and caliper coating, glass coating and interior protection. Paint correction covers the polishing stages in detail.

Which paints does Mercedes-AMG sell on the GT?

A long list, gloss and matte. Mercedes-Benz USA counts over 70 GT paints running “from classic nonmetallics to modern matte colors”, and around 50 are MANUFAKTUR Exclusive shades. At the second-generation launch the menu was shorter: Mercedes’s 2023 release counted eleven paint colours and eight wheel designs.

Earlier cars have their own palette. For the 2021 Stealth Edition, Mercedes’s 2021 GT release lists black as standard, with obsidian black metallic, selenite grey metallic and designo graphite grey magno as options, and the 2020 GT guide introduced designo Brilliant Blue Magno. Give the shop the exact paint name, because it decides the route.

Can a Magno matte AMG GT be coated?

Yes, but without the gloss routine. Machine polishing would put shine into a matte finish, so a Magno GT skips the correction stages that Performance and Signature are built on, and is quoted on its own. How the shop handles flat finishes is on ceramic coating for matte paint.

The current Magno list is specific. The 2026 GT 63 PRO guide names Copper Orange Magno as a new MANUFAKTUR paint and Green Hell Magno as exclusive to the PRO, and Cirrus Silver Magno joined for 2025 under the MANUFAKTUR Signature program.

Which carbon, black and wheel parts should be included?

On a GT, quite a few non-paint parts. Mercedes-Benz USA lists styling options that add gloss black, chrome and carbon fibre pieces, and Mercedes’s GT 63 PRO release fits that model with carbon fibre for the splitter, the sill trims, the diffuser and the wing as standard.

  • Trim and carbon: part of the Signature package; on the other two, ask for those pieces by name.
  • Wheels: up to 21-inch forged designs; the PRO’s forged wheels come in Himalaya Grey Matte.
  • Brakes: Mercedes-Benz Canada says carbon ceramic brakes are a V8 option, standard on the GT 63 PRO, with black calipers available on all V8 brakes.

Wheels and calipers have their own service, set out on ceramic coating for wheels.

How do you book an AMG GT ceramic coating in Langley?

Tell the shop the year, model and paint name, and attach a few daylight photos of the paint. If paint protection film is in the plan, it goes on first and the coating follows; the order for PPF, ceramic and tint explains why, and AMG GT PPF lists the packages.

The GT stays one to three days, depending on the package and the correction it needs. Keep it dry for 24 hours after you collect it. Ask for a figure through the AMG GT coating form or call 604 534 6433.

Gloss paint is machine-corrected before the Performance and Signature packages. Magno matte paint skips this step.

Questions about AMG GT ceramic coating

01Will a coating stop stone chips on the GT's nose?

No. A coating makes the paint easier to clean and adds gloss, but it isn't impact protection. Paint protection film on the front, coated over afterwards, is the combination for chips.

02Can the GT 63 PRO's matte grey wheels be coated?

Yes. Signature includes the wheels, Performance covers the wheel faces, and wheel and caliper coating can be added to Essential. Mention the matte finish when you book.

03Does every package include paint correction?

No. Performance is built on a two-stage correction and Signature on a full one, while Essential is a single layer; matte Magno paint is never machine-corrected.

04How soon can I drive the GT in the rain after coating?

Keep it dry for the first 24 hours after pickup. If rain is forecast, book around it or plan to leave the car garaged for that day.
